Now I got it down to 45 second to figure a stair carriage " Beside a double helix spiral' or The Loretto Chapel " . I don't use a framing square . I like decimal in the calculating and using all those formies from geometry and trickonometry . Ba bamm . I now got it down to the strike on the floor to within a mm . Let the math do the walking , layout is on the hypotenuse and a cut off block . My system is so autistic and boggles even someone with a 65 IQ .
