Before reinstalling the air tank , spray the air tank with a quality undercoating . Install 1/4” air line from the air tank to an easily accessible area and mount a 1/4” ball valve for a remote drain .

I spray everything with amsoil metal protector

Just replace it with an aluminum air tank if available
