Hi Alen, I think both are male. The one with the blue nose is a male, because he is older, and the other one is also a male but he is younger, his nose is pink purplish and starting to turn blue. I also have a rainbow budgie, his name is Disco. When I got him his nose was dark pink and I thought he was a girl, and I realized he was a male. I LOVE ❤❤❤ your channel and all of your budgies, I am also a budgie fan, I have 3 now, they are all male. If you want I can tel you how to know if your young budgie is a male or female. ☺

Yesterday, while i was at office, one of my (rainbow) female Budgie enter into another younger females (classic) cage, heavily iinjured her & killed 2 of her tiny babies. When i returned. It's already too late. I was just devastated & this were her 1st born. Luckily my older female whose mate passed way few weeks ago had 6 babies in her box & Being a single mom it's hard for her. Even tho She's an amazing & experienced bird! So i took the little 3 babies out of her box & put them in the injured ones box. I was kinda afraid she might attack the babies. Bt miraculously she accept them as her very own. Let's hope the rest gose well this babies. Now u may ask why i'm sharing my incident with U, cz ur the reason why i'm a budgie addicted person now. & It change my life forever, God bless U & ur Family ❤❤❤❤

I have a lacewing budgie who shows no interest in his female. He shows interest in other female budgie who already have a partner. One day I shifted him in her cage he was happily approaching her but the female and her male partner beat him up with their beaks😅. Then I shifted my red eyed budgie towards his old cage.

Hi alen i have a bugie that's color is is a very pale shade of yellow in body a bit of brown in wings and in the front of the wing there are some brown strips and and at the bottom there is al light blue color a bit similar to sky blue and the 1 feather of the tail is black and the rest of the tail is sunny yellow. Hey can someone tell me! my budgie started to lay eggs but unfortunately she broke all four eggs as soon as they laid she laid them one by one and break one by one. my budgie incubate the 4th egg for 2 days and then break it. now she has her 5th egg and she is incubating it since 3 days now she spend most of the hours in the nest i haven seen her completely since she laid that egg..does it means she finally started to incubate it...will she break it? my budgies are tamed! i dont know why they broke there very first 5 eggs. im planning to remove the nest box if she broke this one because she seems to be exhausted. i have given her calcium block veggies and seeds and pellets...but i don't want her to die because of excessive egg laying.. so i want a suggestion what should i do? should i keep the nest box or remove it if she broke the 5th egg... also she is laying those eggs for the very first time.... i just bought them from the store 1yr ago now they are making family i want the baby budgie but she is breaking those eggs...what to do plz tell im not experienced with these scenarios.
Hi guys, this is quite important. I don't know anyone else who could help me with birds. We got two new, young birds and the one is showing symptoms of the illness that took my previous bird away. He has puffed up feathers, doesn't really move, his sense of balance is not so good, when he breathes his whole body moves and he also makes a hissing kind of sound sometimes when breathing. The other bird is lively and flew much more etc. Please help!!!! Are we paranoid or are we right about it having some illness?
Could be mites in his/her throat. Birds struggle to breathe if they have mites on them. You can treat them with Scatt if you live in the United States.

If you really want to breed them,keep them away from colony.it is difficult to breed budgies in a flight cage colony.sometimes they don't do well if you keep them separated from the colony and breed them in small cage.the best is to keep breeding budgie pair separate in a breeding cage,and provide a separate life healthy life.a very big colony is an exception

Give them time. The female is not ready to mate. Depends on her age.
