I once bought George Adams a cognac in the Five Spot in NYC, around 1873. He was playing with Roy Haynes!!! What a privilege to have seen them together.

The Japanese really love Jazz and know what is great. I love watching the audience digging these wonderful giants playing.

If only we had jazz audiences that large and that enthusiastic in Australia.....sigh. One of my favourite YT videos is Herbie playing Canteloupe Under the Blue Sky - what an atmosphere from the crowd!

George Adams had such a unique voice. His gigs were electrifying and I share happy moments seeing him going wild on the podia.

Is it normal the older we get the more we interested to jazz or jazz is so good and timeless regardless the ages.

george he has very eccentric characteristic tenor style.
here he plays aside another leader don.
but his melody includes melancholicism i cannot stop vibrations.
    bravo ottimo

Pullen was pure Genius. He could not be defined nor pidgeon holed by the critics therefore they tried hard to minimize his skills by saying his music was too unconventional. This was mainly due to the fact that he could not be duplicated.
