Man ' this car bring's back some memories ! My Gramp's had a 64 Biscayne ' that only had a straight 6 in it . when I was a kid I all ways thought that car was so cool ' but It would have been W/ at least a 350 ' or a 396 in It ! A 409 would be even better ' but he sold it & bought a 70 Nova w/ a 307 that was mint when he bought it . That is till he let my MOTHER drive it ' & every thing went to shit after that ! The 64 Chevy was the 1 st. car I ever drove at 10 yrs. old .
64 impalaSS it has the wrong chrome on the trunk. That piece that goes across the wraps down the side is spozta be machine turned circles like the strip on the side of the car. It's 3 pieces on the trunk and 3 pieces on each side.
I was gonna say its a great sleeper with those little tires and corvette caps and rings, BUT? You started the motor and that candy red flame job went right out the window Thee engine Sounds too radical for a sleeper! But from far away wanna race?
Have the $ ready at least 15k but try EBay and craigslist that's where I'm looking at for now, On that budget you can find something that runs that you can enjoy in the mean time while you Start working on it.. Best of luck.. 👍
