Wow I didn't realize these many types of stitches were available, thanks for sharing, hey love the music, could you inform me of whom the artist is, thanks for sharing this video.
@@themazeleather Thanks a bunch for the reply, sharing your ideas on new creative stitches & this awesome music & for informing me of those artist too.
Melody England I may be wrong, but I believe the third piece of music is an adapted instrumental version of “That’s The Way”, by Led Zeppelin. If it isn’t, it sure wants to be.
Melody England ...or maybe Bron yr air stomp, also by Zeppelin.
@@gregandcindygingerich9615 Thanks for the reply, the video & the awesome music, no matter who it's by, I love it.
@@themazeleather Ethan, really enjoyed the video and the the music. You should check out Justin Johnsons' music here on You Tube. I think you will really like him. Now, back to leather...LOL The Butt stitch is confusing to me, I just can't seem to get my head wrapped around it. Are you actually going between the layers of leather?
I wish you could have explained the purpose and advantages of each choice. Knowing how to apply it is key.
And without the music
Thanks so much, I have always used a single needle to sew my leather, but your use of 2 needles has opened my eyes to new techniques.
Possibly the best sewing video I have found yet. Great job.
Thanks for replying back, the stiches are great ideas, love trying new things or new ideas, also thanks for informing me of the artist of the music here, all are simply awesome, love it, thanks.
Much needed demonstration, I will definitely attempt these various stitches. This opens up far more design options for me , thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge 🙏🏼
This will be very helpful in choosing what I'm needing to do. I'm on a mission to build my own office chair and I'm learning everything I can on leather and vinyl stitching techniques. Thank you for this.
You deserve to say thank you for your time and your wonderful techniques. Thanks again
Thanks for sharing. Beautiful work.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing such a clear view on these stitches and how they're done. Stay well.
Nice demo, liked the music too.
Many concepts got cleared....thankU very much.
Thank you! I was looking for something neat and tidy for stitching thimbles and found a whole lot more. I'll be sure to add it to a playlist for the future!
Oh it did lol. I was set on a baseball stitch and ended up using a cross stitch. The box stitch is next for a "out of the pocket" organizer im cooking up for cigarettes, zippo, slidewinder knife, phone and olight flashlight
Am I the only one who wanna grap a revolver after hearing the background music?
@@themazeleather 😂😂if I was American I would definitely go n buy a revolver 😂😂
@@asochithung5169 Yup i wouldn't doubt that at all, to me it's some of the best sounds i have ever heard.
If you don't like it, mute it (DAH) !!! Personally i like it a whole lot, so there.@@asochithung5169
Much appreciated, thank you! Excellent tutorial.
TYVM for teaching me how to stitch all them diff ways. Im new to it so you was a great help.
Very cool! Thanks bfor sharing!👍👍
Totally diggin the tunes!!
Good instruction, loved the music!
Thank You!!
Thanks for the demos. I'd done a cross stitch and found the seam too bulky for what I needed. That “Z” stitch lays much flatter.
Really helpful. Thank you!
Thank you so much for a very helpful video! I’ll be watching this one several times, I’m sure!
Great Tutorial ! just what i was looking for !!!!! 🙏 thank you
I’m sure I will return to this video for review later, thanks!
Thank you my friend ! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇧🇷
Great work!
Thank you for providing this quick demonstration. I have needed a quick way to knot my thread and these seem the best I’ve seen. I wonder whether flaming the ends is recommended for newbies.
Great vid, got into leather crafting a few months back, currently making a leather helm, trying to do all with stitching than using rivets, so many options for stitching for me to choose. :D
Me encanto este video, hay como tres puntadas que voy a aplicar, aparte de la de punto de cruz que ya la hago en mis bolsos, gracias por compartir, loseguire.
Awesome... you're the stitching-guru...
Loved this video! Just purchased my first ever Leather sewing kit and every other video I’ve watched I have found to be a bit confusing. This seems way more doable and less intimidating 😅.
Also, props to you for being so graceful when responding to some of the unnecessary critical comments! 👏
Nice PRO tips. Thanks
Nice opening tune man.
Now I know what stitch I am going to use on my Harley grips.
Great video! Never knew some of those stitches existed. If I may, the only thing I would criticize (constructively) is the box stitch, it more about the prepping of your edges(I was taught to bevel the flesh side at 45 degree angle as well as punching the hole through at 45 degrees so the edges meet up perfectly at a miter). Still an awesome tutorial! Thank you!
I am not sure about your stitching skills but definitely you have good music taste.
Love the video .. definitely learned alot .. love the music too :-) thanks for sharing
Maze Leather who’s that playing?
Great video! I learned exactly what I needed!
Many thanks!
Thank you ❤️
Just getting into some leather work (my grandfather was a saddler up Tamworth way, pre-Hiscocks, so I’m hoping the genes might show up!). This is a great little stitch guide!
Thank you for sharing your Amazing hints &tips I have Subscribed I'm sure that I will be back learning more & more 😁😁😁
Excellent work. Thank you 14:57 😊
Muchas gracias
Thank you
Amazing video! I'm having trouble stiching by hand, after I punch the holes, it seems as if my needle is to thick or something, hence is very difficult to pass the needle from one side to the other, can you recomend if is better to punch larger holes or use a smaller needle? Thank you so much for your help!
The music its awesome
Thank you so much.
Muy buena demosracion👍👍👍
Great GEE-tar. Is the cross stitch like a corset stitch & is it stronger than a baseball stitch? Trying to sew a boot hard toe separation back to the rear vamp.
I use a Speedy Stitcher Sewing Awl for everything I fix for camping..
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Good job, thanks for the tips and information.
I enjoyed watching ur work and more with the music😍😍can you please say the name of the song🥰🥰thank you
A very nicely edit video and great choice in music
Do you have a video on lacing techniques?
sound track? thank you for a great video....
Looking to see if the type stitch on a purse inherited from my Grandmother is included. It’s like the box stitch with a braid running down the center of the joint.
Awesome music !!!!!!
Oh damn, you included a french seam. Its strong but takes yards of thread, hands of steel and 3x the mount of time. Definitely only want to use a sewing machine for that.
Спасибо!
Awesome
Hermosas costuras
Wow! Thanks for the demo!!! I'm really new and this might be the best example of types of stitches ever!
You're a good stitcher...
How did you get the Tiny holes? What tool did you use?
Listening to the music in this video instantly had me thinking of a few Led Zepplin tunes, lol. 😎😎😎
Keep coming back for the music. I know others have asked, would you be willing to provide a track list either in the description or in a pinned comment, please?
Great video but could you do it with two pieces of leather to see how it's actually used practically to join?
Great video...just curious...couldn't I do the last one without the extra piece of white leather? Just sew the 2 red leather flaps down with a saddle stitch?
@@themazeleather thank you😊
nice one
thanks Maze.....very cool thanks for sharing......can you please tell me exactly
- which needles
- which threads
- and which pricking irons ...brand and mm???
Thanks
Watch only the first light colors of leather and the threat driven me crazy.
I'm giving up for the lesson prehas.comeing back but passing by for now
Hola, por favor le quiero pedir que me ayude con esto. Estoy usando hilo de nylon bonderizado, y quisiera que me oriente si este tipo requiere aplicarle cera para que no se enrede y refuerce su dureza? Gracias
Thank video. Good
I'm curious, what advantage/ use does the butt stitch have? It seems like it would be a more fragile seam and looks to have a more niche use.
Muy lindo
Forgotten about single needle lock stitching. Nice when you don’t want to saddle stitch.
I'm an absolute newbie with this. I have a vision in my head to make with suede. What tool do you use to make the wholes & what thread are you using, please? Signed... a very enthusiastic crafter.
@@themazeleather Thank you so much for your speedy response. I've been looking for a pouch necklace for such a long time. Couldn't find anything I fancied so decided to give designing one a while myself. Ive subscribed to your channel so I'll keep an eye out for you new posting. BTW when I first started listening to the track behind this post I thought it was these,,,,

Большое спасибо
Nice demo......can you send me the name of the first tone. Thanks
I love the guitar sound in the background.
What's the music you have playing? Love it!
Concentrate on work not on 🎵 music
Did you use two needles for the cross stitch?
Hola, como se llama el hilo que usas, gracias!
How can I do that cross stich to close a tassel??
what kind of "thread" are you using for this?
yoooo thats my dawg
Rolling like a big shot
thank you for showing us your beautiful craftsmanship! how would you stitch and stretch around hard oval object, like axe handle please? best of luck !
@@themazeleather thank you kindly for your valuable advise!
@@themazeleather it souds great, thanks! if i like to make a collar around axe handle, should i wet the leather or not, before stitching? ( to make it more tight ) thanks and keep working!
@@themazeleather thanks and looking forward to learn more from your work!
Hermoso
Get it to FOCUS !
Bárbaro muy lindo
Who did the music track? Can you play background music without stating who the original musician is. I only ask since I don't know. Thanks, Frank
Mazing good luck ya from Indonesian Bamego kreatif Chanel 🙏 sucses
Can’t see the stitching at all. Could you show us with contrasting colors please? You work so smoothly and make it look easy.
Amazing!
What thread is that?
@@themazeleather thank you. Appreciate it
Could you PLEASE, Let us all know how much thread each stitch uses? 4x length of seam? 5x? 10x? Many thanks in advance.
But the single stitch is used also on leather? As I know is more common for fabric.
how thick is the thread mm?
