Thank you. I don’t do sponsors and I don’t monetize. The music I use I don’t have a full license for so they have the right to add a small advertisement during the beginning. I’m cool with that since the license is 50.00 per video beyond what I have.
thanks for the great vid. I wish more would use the ground cloth.going over where I have been' with the nox and doing great. just wish I did't have to dig so deep.
Your welcome and glad you enjoyed it. Lol... it’s a good thing you are digging deeper... but I too have noticed I am digging a lot more as well as deeper which adds to fatigue. I’m ok with it though. 🙂 good luck on and upcoming hunts. 👍🏻
Digging in NYC I have learned (the hard way) about target masking. Removing the low tones can sometimes get you to the high tones. Same rule applies with bottle caps and pull tabs!
I try to dig about anything that responds well and is in the artifact later that’s producing older finds (depth). I most folks on here believe I’m targeting coins but I’m actually not a coin collector... I just like finding interesting items. Thanks for checking the video out.
Your welcome Steven... glad it’s helping with learning the machine. I tend to do the same thing once I have found what is working for me... just make sure to try some stuff besides what I’m doing due to your soil types possibly being very different than mine. It really makes a difference what region you are in and the makeup of your soils.
Glad you enjoyed it. I try my best to portray the hobby for what it actually is,, with trash and treasure as well as not running around in circles embellishing my excitement to gain attention... hopefully that makes sense. 🙂 keeping it real I guess.
Very nice and thanks for the ID. Wonder how that little toy made it here... it’s really cool and went in my collection. For some reason I like personal finds like that better than coins although finding coins is still a great time.
Excellent episode. The 15-17 readings I'm getting bottle tops and had been passing them over in the real trashy areas. Now I'm wondering what I'm leaving behind lol. Thanks for sharing your hunt, knowledge, settings and finds. Always enjoy watching. Take care.
A good couple of day's the other blokes took what they wanted and left you what they didnt want but i think they lost because you got the history of the place thank you for having me along
The eagle pin is a 1929-1934 Girlscout Pin. I just found 5 of them at an old GS house. Count the arrows, if it’s 7 arrows it’s probably a type 3B GS pin
That’s great your having success with the machine. I really enjoy that it’s light as a feather... really helps with the fatigue. Thanks for checking out the video.

Very nice , glad to see you use a ground cloth, I always show people the benefits of using one. Just a suggestion, you might try cutting your plugs with a straighter walls. There will probably be some disagreement, but in my opinion, coins don't really "sink" in soil. They get covered up with years of decomposing organic matter such as mowed grass.
@@MrMcGoo-rm3yu Do you have any old curb strips in your town? We have some old granite strips and you can tell they haven't been disturbed because the soil level is 3 or 4 inches higher than the strip/sidewalk. They weren't like that when new. That's many years of organic buildup.
I see that scenario on my wooded hunts where the decaying leaf layer is super thick and then the ultra organic layer is the same. Once you get into the topsoil layer that looks like regular topsoil your already 8” deep. Clay layer so well behind that. I’m not sure about the organic breakdown of soil layers and the addition of new soil due to sedimentation. Just historically over the years I have experienced that the heavier coins drop to the clay layer and lighter stuff can be anywhere above that. It’s just my observation And my soil types. Seriously made me laugh. All I can say is you really have to want to use a V3i... otherwise you sell it 2 months after you get it. Mines now 9 years old.

You definitely got a lot of cool stuff from that yard, like I said before there’s gotta be silver hiding somewhere with all those wheaties. You should run that 6” coil there when you get it, you are gonna love that coil. Awesome video!

Good stuff man. Born and raised in N.E. Ohio then moved to Western Maine where I'm surrounded by tons of stone walls and farm sites. Havin' a blast! Thanks for the video.
Thank you and glad you like the videos. I am from Kentucky and only been here for about 3 years or better. Really makes a big difference on when folks started settling in the area that you hunt. Thanks for checking the video out.
I haven’t heard anything. She goes by silver dollar digger.. actually met her through Instagram. I believe she has been out detecting since with other interesting finds.
I’d suggest running park one in 5 tones. It really helps lock you into the coin signals, especially if you set the tone breaks up right. If you’re a coin hunter that’s the way to go with the Nox, but if you’re a relic hunter, then digging it all regardless is the best 😁
Very nice suggestion and I like 5 tones as well... like you say it really makes the coin targets pop. So far learning the machine has been fun....there is lots till to try on it to see if it effects the hunt.
Nice vid! I'm finding out the same thing with my hunting with my nox 800. I have been finding alot of wheats old nickles and Indians but no silver vat all. I think you are right about people are cherry picking and move on.
It’s been like that with my hunts for the past... guessing... 10 years for my hunts. I just don’t find silver like I used to.... even on my very old farm field sites I don’t find much silver. The only silver I found this winter was a silver trime... very happy with it but would like to hit some others too. Honestly not complaining and I never expect to find silver so when I actually do... it’s aleays exciting.
I watched the ending again to see what I labeled them.. I must have been mistaken if I said 43 in the video. Sometimes hard to see and tell what the date is. I wish it was a 43 though. :) I'd go get a CTX3030 with it. LOL. Thanks for checking the video out.
Hey man another great video and nice hunt with cool finds! Although I'm pretty sure that's a civil war navy button since the eagle's head is turned to the left!(viewer's right) After the war the navy decided all eagle buttons should have the eagle's head facing right (viewer's left) because facing left is considered dishonorable. Congratulations great civil war find! HH
After further research now I'm not sure, it might be early 1900s... I know they used iron backs on some buttons during the civil war, I have a definite Confederate naval civil war button I found with the same iron back as urs
I was confused on it so I took a wild guess on WWII... my blue buck of military buttons didn’t cover off on this one very well. Someone else stated it might be a civilian button that was a known look a like.
Great video, hunt and a little comparison Squirrel! Nice handful of Wheaties - check the dates, you never know. Cool Girl Scout pin - I've only seen and dug boy scout items. Nox is very unique in it's ability to select good targets mixed in with bad... I've had similar experiences...last weekend dug a bunch of glad dimes - most had rusted iron, bolts or other junk mixed in. I've never listened when they say a site has been hunted. Found plenty with dfx, v3i and now Nox. I guess hunted out means cherry picked for silver 😉 Take care and be safe!
Thank you Linda. That’s true about the key days but I really haven’t ever looked into them much over the years. The hunt for me is mainly just finding “stuff”... I guess... anything interesting. But... I do know that I can check my key dates and get more involved in that part of my hunt now. 🙂🙂 thank you very much for the Red Book.... I’ve actually been through it many times since it arrived. There is endless possibilities for such awesome finds out there. Thank you for checking the video out and especially for sending me a gift. Take care.
Thank you David, I like finding anything out there but I do excited on the older ones. Wheats are great practice as well as tell a story about the families that lived in the house... you can really tell where folks hung out as well as children played. Thanks for the congrats and for checking out the video.
So many wheaties on that hunt. There's definitely more to be found. I'm rooting for you to get the Indian or some silver out of that permission eventually 👍 Thanks for the tutorial and the comparison on the two units. Great video yet again.
Thank you. 🙂 I wasn’t sure in the field about the railroad name but I believe you are spot on with the ID. Tats great you were pointed my way from her... I wear her channels decal on all the machines I run to help support. I try to join in on Thursdays when I can or for an occasional coin roll hunt when I’m at work... just don’t tell anyone. Lol.
Rooting for some silver for ya, Kenny, but nice elderly group of wheats sure didn't hurt. The USN button took the prize for me. Hard to counter your logic regarding the previous hunters going for the silver. I believe I'd do the same. Thanks for the completion of your two-part mini series. You mention your digger brand but I didn't make out what you said. Very sharp = very kind to the grass.
Just found your channel tonight. Great video! Just a suggestion, be careful wiping your coin finds with your glove or a rag. I damaged a 50 cent like that and now use a soft toothbrush and a small spray bottle with water. HH!
Glad you found the channel and enjoyed the video. I generally wipe the copper ones and such.. if it's silver I use a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water that I spray on and let the dirt fall off. Thanks for the suggestion and for checking out the video.
Yep we will never know but it sure looked cherry picked too me. Another well produced video. Thanks for sharing and showing the comparison to the White.

Thank you.. I do hunt the curb strips and hunted it in this video as well as the previous one at this site. Sometimes they can produce great finds but they sure are loaded with modern trash as well. Thanks for checking out the video.
Ha! In the US they punched holes in coins and strung them on string because they never had pockets before the 1860’s. A 1956 Canadian One Cent with a hole and a string??? 🤔...No pockets??? Great video!

Yes.. try to dig xome of the 15-17 tones. It's the "Grab Bag" tone area.. could truly be anything where sometimes the targets are very interesting.
I've been doing experiments covering the same area with 1 and 2.
I have noticed targets appear in areas that I just covered by switching programs... I believe it’s a must if time allows.
Great hunt. I really need to just jump out and fire up my 800. Guess I'll never learn if I don't.
Yes... just get out and swing it. The machine brings a lot of enjoyment to the hunt.

Wheats are great practice as well as tell a story about the families that lived in the house... you can really tell where folks hung out as well as children played. Thanks for the congrats and for checking out the video.
Just a tidbit of info. My moms side of the family is Shaw... from Alabama.
Square Nail Squirrel
Our Shaw’s are from council bluffs Iowa.
I’m in California . On vacation now .
So many wheaties on that hunt. There's definitely more to be found. I'm rooting for you to get the Indian or some silver out of that permission eventually 👍
Thanks for the tutorial and the comparison on the two units.
Great video yet again.
Your first find I believe is something from Girl Scouts. Cool finds!
Yes. I wasn’t sure what it was. I’m so used to general service with civil war buttons... lol. Forgot about Girl Scouts. Thanks for commenting.
Suscripto amigo 👍🍀. Exelente video . Super like 👍. Abrazo grande desde Rosario santa fe Argentina 🤜🤛🍀
Thank you. 👍🏻 Glad you joined on the channel.

Nice camera work! Think the railroad is called New York Central on that one find. Heard about you via Liz at Digging Canuck. 👍😎🦈🦈
Square Nail Squirrel Appreciate the reply. Keep the awesome videos coming.
It's a girl scout pin.
Yep we will never know but it sure looked cherry picked too me. Another well produced video. Thanks for sharing and showing the comparison to the White.
I always try my best to hit silver but it’s ok if I don’t... I really enjoy just finding stuff which isn’t always coins. Maybe in one of the yards this summer I can grab some silver.
Another great video. And some cool finds. Did you hunt the curb strips? Those looked very promising at the beginning of the video.
Thank you.. I do hunt the curb strips and hunted it in this video as well as the previous one at this site. Sometimes they can produce great finds but they sure are loaded with modern trash as well. Thanks for checking out the video.
NICE - All in a GREAT DAY
Ha! In the US they punched holes in coins and strung them on string because they never had pockets before the 1860’s.
A 1956 Canadian One Cent with a hole and a string??? 🤔...No pockets???
Great video!
S A thoughts we learn something new every day. Aristocracy did have a crude pocket that lined clothing.
Brad has even a harder time but he usually will reply within a day or two you can do it 👍🏻good hunt buddy
Doing my best... this RUclips venture takes up a lot of time. Thanks for watching.
Great videos.. where are you located?
Thanks Greg... I’m in northern Ohio.
I'm surprised how well the Equinox is doing compared to the V3i. Wonder if that's cause of some settings differences.
I do alot of digging in old towns in Kansas and I've never made it to the clay layer lol.
Those tricky pull tabs ;)
Bra søketur 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👍
Thank you Kjell. 🙂
It means Girl Scouts
Your first wheat cent you mentioned it might be a 1943. If it was you’d be sitting on a pile of ca$h with a copper ‘43!
Yeah general service or maybe girl scouts.... lol
The targets “in-town” aren’t my forte... lol. I just like finding... I’m not an expert like all the folks on social media are in ID’s.
Square Nail Squirrel I am by no means making fun, I just laughed super hard sorry if it came across that way, I’d be a liar if I said I never found something I thought was super awesome to find out it was junk
Great video! sounds like they cherry picked I run into people all the time that do not dig low or mid tones!
Did you find a 43 copper?!?!
Nice, I know it takes a lot of effort to make nice vids like this, I enjoyed...also in Ohio.
