After so much time everything seems really smooth, the cameras are probably the best feature on this phone. Talking about EMUI, at first I didn't like it as much, but after the update it is really good. There are some useful features that I use daily. Although I prefer a minimalistic/material look on my phones so I put Nova Launcher Prime on top of the EMUI skin.

Also the Chinese government has a share in all of these companies and there are several security and privacy issues relating to this. You are buying Chinese spyware. The profits from the phone sale go towards destroying Hong Kong's democracy, the suppression of people and cultures in Tibet and Xinjiang, and the military buildup waiting for an invasion of the 23.5 million free people of Taiwan.

I got this phone at the launch, and yeah the no headphone jack is a shame, but honestly I have not had a problem with that yet. You do get a usb-c to 3.5mm converter, and the battery is 4000mAh that charges to like 50% in 30 min with supercharge, also I have yet to have the phone die on me during the day (always at night) so it gets a big thumbs up from me!
must say i wasn't going to consider it because of ditching the headphone port but in all honestly it hasn't been an issue any way, most headphones i use are bluetooth and on the occasion i want to use normal ones you've always got the little adapter. i think no headphone jack for water proofing is a good trade off honestly.
axeami135 but the headphone jack doesn't make waterproofing harder, it's overall better to have it than not, I have a note 8 and that has a higher ip rating than this phone despite having a headphone jack, I use Bluetooth headphones but I also use wired as constantly recharging the headphones is a pain and also because Bluetooth headphones have a shorter life than wired as they'll eventually stop charging and are also more expensive, so having options available is really handy.
Yeah, this one is an absolute winner in the batter department, and arguably has the best battery among all flagships out there, that 4000 mAH battery gives beastly battery endurance, you can easily go for 2 days with this device. Actually i think the battery life of this phone should be an example to other smartphone manufacturers, who insists in using smaller batteries on their devices, most flagships nowadays do need a larger battery. Long time viewers know that a level 6/7 scratch is on par with most flagships but people who only look up this specific test will not. "Pretty normal so far" doesn't let the viewer know just how good it is and if there's something better. It's a minor complaint but I think you should try to include everyone. JustDoIt screen protectors have come a long way since u last use them. The old plastic ones do scratches easily and look ugly. But high quality plastic screen protectors or tempered glass ones nowadays don't anymore. It might worth revisiting.
Im a software engineer "ex trainee" now and at work came across this phone. It was put into a box along with other random phones and about 1 week and a half later it still had 14% battery life. What a beast
To get the screen slide into one corner you have to slide either to left or right on the funtionkey-bar at the bottom on the phone. You can put it into the left or right corner. It is there to make one-handed use easier.
Hey. To activate the one handed mode simply swipe horizontally across the navigation bar in the direction which you want the screen to be minimised in.
In order to get into a smaller screen, just swipe right/left at the bottom of the screen where the home button is located. Swiping left will make it go smaller into the left side of the screen vise versa.

Hey Zack you can enable one handed operation by swiping across the function keys on the bottom of the phone. Depending on the orientation of the swipe, you will get the screen closer to the corner you prefer, depending if you are right or left handed user.

Farhat C well I was a samsung user since 2015 when I first got the huawei I quickly adapted to EMUI its UI is kinda simple so I had no difficulty
