So i think the kyokushinguys win against Thai. Thais are not this big... this guys here destroy them. Kyokushintraining is more to take punsh and kicks than any other martial Art. There Was muai Thai in this competition.... btw,....
I have alot of respect for the Kyokushin guys, they are just beasts. Even before this event, i saw them as the only Karatekas that were going to Thailand to fight Thais. Very strong fighters!

@@robneerf Muay Thai and Kyokushin have historically faced each other, however when Mas Oyama took his students to compete in Thailand, Kyokushin was superior, without a doubt Muay Thai is good, so it depends on the practitioner, but it cannot be said that the Muay Thai is better, it's relative

Totalmente tienen una condición física inigualable, solo su baja movilidad de cabeza y mala defensa de la misma les perjudica en un conflicto real.
Efectivo? Creo que en esta prueba no es posible demostrar eso. De todas formas, sí considero efectivas varias tecnicas del kyokushin.
Only effective towards steady opponent when low kicking their legs, in a fight, the Kyukoshin will be punched in the face and they are not used to that, specially they have worst head movement defense, they only shine in this specific type of competition

Este formato está hecho claramente para los karatekas kyokushin a lo largo de los años estamos acostumbrados a recibir cientos sino miles de low Kicks , además en la competición de kyokushin la inexpresividad ante el dolor es clave para que no te den el combate por perdido por lo que el formato se presta a que sea dominado por el kyokushin .
Aún así muy grandes todos y muy valientes .OSU

Damage from leg kicks can be absolutely no joke. Muscle tears, compartment syndrome, myositis ossificans, nerve damage, fractures.

Kyokushin technique is to kick through the muscle and try to reach the bone potentially past the leg itself (if that makes sense)

The guy who kicks first has the advantage because his opponent then can't plant his feet to kick with max power since he just took a hard leg kick. But the same can be said about the guys who slap each other on the face. The guy who slaps first has the advantage.
