What do you think of Weeylite S03? #weeylite #rgblight #rgb Хобби
My biggest problem with video creation is finding and maintaining the storyline. When filming indoors, it's actually the lighting that I still have to deal with. Your tutorials are a great help on both topics. Thanks a lot for this.
I have to say that it is great to see a woman and a Canadian as an influencer with all things camera and videos. To answer your question, I am struggling with piecing together multiple Insta 360 videos together to make a longer video in the Insta360 app. I am using the One X2 and the new Go 2. These little lights intrigue me as I live out of a suitcase and need lightweight, portable equipment. I love watching your videos. You get right to the point and explain everything in simple, easy-to-understand terminology. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.
It always feels like you have so much to do before you get to editing, like getting your story board, shot list, actually going to location, setting up, getting your shots (and making sure you have extra shots in case you goofed up), getting your head around shooting a story out of sequence and so on. And then you get back to your desk, download all of the files, and you find you can't quite remember how to drive your editing software so you have to study up on that before you can actually start editing. It does get easier over time but it is a bit of a mountain to climb.
My biggest struggle is constantly trying to brainstorm ways to self shoot with video and photos. I've learned and been successful in many ways but there are still roadblocks. That's fun for me though! I came across your page trying to learn more about my gimbal. I have been trying to hone my lighting technique and so I was very interested in this new video. Thanks for posting it.
Omg !!!!!
Unrelated to giveaway, I had an operation on my eyes. You have mentioned your eye issues and I thought you might be interested. Cataracts gone. I chose Synergy Toric IOLs and went to Herzig. So happy to be eyeglasses free, first time since age 9! Contact lenses at 16, progressive bifocals at 50, computer adjusted reading glasses about 2017. Mr Magog nearsightedness, maybe worse, and strong astigmatism to boot. Now, eyeglasses free! And, real whites, no slight amber tint but I had forgotten what a joy pure white is. Best camera accessories ever!
Good for you…. I am happy to hear all is well with your eyes now
For such a small lamp this is brilliant, one of the best app controllers i have ever seen, love the Lee and Rosco tiles as well, superb.
I love the size and tweakability of these lights!
Hi Zdenka! I watched a few of your videos and I must say.... great content! I'm a newbie with videography and I'm currently soaking up all the tips before I get started on youtube so I would say everything is going to be a struggle... but I'm always excited to pick up new skills. You will probably be my go-to person to ask questions as I progress. ;)
My biggest struggle is that I've figured everything out on my own (with a lots of help from folks like you!.) I'm sure there are SO many things I don't even know that I don't know. :-) Someday I would love to take some in-person courses. Thanks for all your tips and the chance to win.
SO excited to find your channel!
Thank you very much for your support
My biggest obstacle right now is time....(and the fact that my studio space has no heat). Thanks for the great content.
Wow these look pretty amazing. Will look in to them. Will be a big help for lighting. Thank you for sharing.
You are very welcome
I just recently found you on RUclips and I love how you explain things. I’m a beginner in video editing so everything is a struggle since I’m still learning.
I would like to get better at creating videos that keeps the interest of the viewer, is well paced and tells a good story. Thank you Zdenka for all of your tutorial videos, I know that many people out there find them helpful, including myself!
love the size of it, perfect when one is on the go! The fact that it doesn't break the bank is a big plus, to help on the budget filmmaking.
My biggest editing struggle is TRANSITIONS, I am always changing my mind on them and need some sound advice on keeping it simple and clean. Great content as always. Love your Gimbal reviews as well.
Very interesting. Thank you for this nice post
Hi Zdenka, Thank You for the great videos 🙏. With your guidance in tutorials I have bought the iPhone 13 pro max and am excited and confident to use it to start filming cooking content soon. My first time saying anything on your channel, just been watching and learning quietly 😊 Competition answer : I would like to learn how to edit an iPhone and DSLR camera video that was filmed simultaneously rolling & was shot tethered . I would like to know how as this may save time as I am still learning basic editing. I really like the light, as I will be filming everything myself it will be a great addition to my kit.
Hi Zdenka! Thank you so much for this platform and your instructional videos! They've been a great help to me. My biggest challenge is background lighting; I've never been able to do it effectively and as a result, I spend more time than necessary trying to find a good natural background for my shoots.
Thanks Zdenka for another great video. I am into drone videos as a hobby now. My biggest struggle is with color correction and color grading.
Thanks Zdenka, these are really neat lights! I try to use Premie Pro, and probably struggle most with what “should I be doing”.. I don’t have a list of steps and I end up fumbling through trying to make the best quality video. I simply need a general list of steps and then how to master each step.
I think at this point my biggest problem is fighting the RUclips compression algorithm. I like to shoot it dark locations and as a result of the compression I tend to get banding in the gradient areas. Uploading in prores or dnxhd can help but the file sizes are gigantic and re encoding takes a very long time.
Great video. Currently struggling with seamlessly looping a background image.
Love the concept of these lights. I am new to video production and editing is a bit daunting. Any tips on lighting and colour grading would be helpful.
Very nice lighting. Thanks for sharing
You are very welcome
Nice video. Things I need to work on are understanding color correction and video lut more.
I've been using the Rp089 lights for 2 years now. Definitely leaps and bound of improvment from them. I'm glad weeylite sent you these for review. You Definitely did them justice.
Super👍
I am struggle with lighting always..sometimes its too light or too dark or too plan.
I would Love to learn editting skills more and more !
Thank you for giving us good lesson and knowledge always
Wow!! Indeed tech so amazing, we keep getting more for le$$. Amazing the variety of app options n Luv that color picker option. Purchasing now!
Thanks for this very useful video. I didn't know that this product was available.
Thank you a nice add to my irig
That little light is so cooL! I would love this in my arsenal! My struggles are definitely capturing B-Roll… I’m really into car photography and videography, but my B-Roll game is no good! Teach me your ways! Thank you for your amazing videos!
Looks very handy, Thank You for sharing
You are very welcome
Happy to see u teacher ❤️❤️
Thank you very much for your support
Wow
So nice knowledge
For light and light instrument
Hello Zdenka. I've just startet to learn about greenscreen editing. I found your video about this very interesting and helpful. I welcome more tips and trix about this, as I want to learn much more about it.
Awesome mini lights n great explaining. In video editing i want to know about color grading ( like movie) and transition from one scene to another.thank u
wow, that is lovely. I am struggling with wireless microphones in my video editing. It just doesn't sound right. Loving the lights.
This is just what is missing in my setup. I'm trying to get into filming as a hobbyist, one of my biggest issues is doing correct color grading to fit a scene so i would love to see some tips and tricks for that, looking forward the next video!
My struggle is Creating interesting story narratives to base my videos on. I enjoy your videos, thank you.
Thanks you. I have always issues with color gradind between two clips.
My biggest struggle in Video editing would be picking the right footage and tell the story. I'm always riddle with self doubt. If it is not the lighting , I will be questioning the angle of the lens or the type of lens I'm using. Your tutorial videos has been an inspiration for me, and I 'Thank You' for sharing your talent Zdenka.
I really enjoy your training...sometimes I feel it is just above my head to apply what I am learning because I am so limited in my skills
Hi and thank you for your content. The lights seem promising and I would love to try one.
Thing that I would like to learn in video editing is how to plan and edit clip-ins to tell a nice story.
Thanks for sharing this tiny device info, which will bring live soul to the pictures, biggest challenge to show picture its own color & i think this tiny device will resolve all the issues.
Wow this light is amazing as are your videos. I am new to photography I do mostly landscapes and wildlife but want to do portraits. This product will help me break new ground and expand my skills. 🙂
Awesome little lights! Thanks Zdenka! I am learning to edit but would like to see how to improve my videos in terms of aligning the clips to the best of the chosen music. Right now I am editing in Adobe Premiere Rush and I have had some experience editing in Premiere Pro. But I would like to switch to Final Cut Pro. Take care!
I've just got these leds from Weeylite and I'm literally about to shoot my video review, so far I like them...they are definitely a great budget solution for studio lights and for traveling. Great video, as usual!
Thank you very much
Hi Zdenka.
I'd like some advice regarding how to manually set the white balance without using presets in order to get good skin tone reproduction. The lights look very good indeed. Thank you.
Steve
Woow Zdenka, woow these are great lamps for various backgrounds and additional lighting for studios and lighting of objects for painting with cameras and camcorders. And I like these lights that you can adjust right through the app, great. You presented these lamps well, as I mentioned to you, that you have a beautiful background in the studio. Yes, that's it😇🤗😁😉😊
Interesting! Thank you!!!
You are very welcome
Nice mini-light !
I would like some ideas for editing fast moving objects.
Thank you and keep it up
Ahoy Zdenka these lights are amazing i like the feature that adapts to the color of the clothes you have, Well my greatest concern is videography which is better to use, a handycam by sony or my cell phone samsung s21 ultra ? hhhmmmm what is a better choice?
Thank you for the contest 🙏🏻😘 I'm stuggling with my macbook's storage. It gets very laggy whenever i am editing so can get very frastrating at times. I like to learn simple techniques or tips which can help make video look pro.
The Weeylite is certainly a cute wee light! Nice review Zdenka, as always. To answer your question regarding my struggles with video editing, I have a few but the one thing that I need some help with is transitions and exactly how to time them with music. I think I mentioned this before, and yes, I'm still not quite there with doing it seemlessly. Thanks, and I look forward to watching more of your videos. 😎
Great review - short and sharp.
Can the light be powered a power bank while in use (to extend the 60min battery life)?
hi zdenka! as always a great content. I like how you can be so objective while delivering so much information. Regarding the lights, I found the option to control them from the cell phone incredible and to be able to group all the controls in a single adjustment. those lights would have been fantastic in the video I recorded for the Zhiyun Challenge. Regarding the question about video editing, today my biggest difficulty has been with words and texts. how to animate titles, brands, information, so that they don't look like just a "wordart" from microsoft word? thanks again!
Ahoy Zdenka~! Very cool little lights :) When editing videos, I am still learning to make creative cuts, transitions and colour grading to perfection. Would definitely love to learn more. :) Thank you for the video :) Take care~!
I'd love to see a video on cuts and transitions. When to create cuts and the ways to make those transitions.
Notifications gang checking in
Thank you very much for your support
I'm mostly struggling to learn pacing with my editing. Not something I ever needed to think about when I only did photography!!
These lights look very interesting & handy to have around.
One of my biggest struggles as a mobile filmmaker is, well, lighting. When I film at home, I have just one light which doesn't help with how dark my room is, or how dark the background is. There's noise and artifacts even when filming in the middle of the day. A light panel like this, no matter the size is a must have for sure - it's compact, versatile, and seems to pack a punch. With so many on the market, its good to see a decently built one as well!
Great video as usual! Love your videos. Anyway, one of the struggles is setting up the camera, of course I'm. Just using my phone as my camera. And I realize lighting is one of the problem as my light source is my ceiling lamp and I usually do bird's eyes view video. And of course still bad at editing videos.. Lol! Keep up the great work!
Wow wonderful product 👌
Thank you
Hi,
I am a subscriber and I’m entering the draw with the a couple of questions.
When editing, I am struggling with colour grading with video. Other than shooting in raw, what other camera setting should I use in order to colour grade more efficiently while editing?
My biggest struggle now is voice recording and audio editing. I have a few videos made with DJI all cut ready with music, captions but need to record my voice overs and this is a whole different topic to learn about. 😊
My biggest struggle in video editing is transition into story telling. I would live to learn more about Final Cut Pro. Can’t wait to watch your next video.
Another great video, Zdenka! Hopefully the Weeylight will be available in The Netherlands soon. I’m quite new to video editing. I recently purchased a DJI mini 2 drone and the OM 5 gimbal besides my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Combining the drone and gimbal shots to me is still challenging. To me this would be a topic that I would love for you to get into in a future video.
Great product, great review 👍🏻
What I struggle with, I would love to learn more about filming and editing Kids on video.
Hey Zdenka🖐🏾☺️ Loving your content as always! My biggest struggle (besides myself) when is getting started with videography. So far I’ve purchased an iPhone12 and a DJI OM4 but simply don’t know where to start first. I am interested in shooting RUclips IG and TikTok videos to grow my following and maybe these lights would be a good start 😉
I would like to understand light. My biggest struggle is with getting light right. I'm new to all of this so I find your tutorials very helpful.
I am struggling with adding in graphics and audio to my video editing. Thanks for making great videos.
How to setup the light source to make my product photos looks more 3D feeling and what color to use to create a harmonize environment.
I’m just trying to improve the quality of my videos overall. Constantly watching channels like yours to build my Knowledge to improve the content I make. I also use GoPros which struggle in low light, so a small light like this has many benefits and use cases in my opinion.
I would love to learn how to add transitions to my different clips shot on different light situations while I want to create a single story.
I think my struggle is having the consistency to create content. I’m trying to get into creating videos again and now more on my own. And what is different is that I plan to have consistent gear, programs to edit in and create videos of what I want. Now that I have my own space, it’s where I can hone in my creative flow.
CONGRATULATIONS! You are the winner of one of the RGB lights. Please connect with me via my email on my website zdenkadarula.com or PM me on Instagram... Cheers
Great video!! My biggest struggle with video editing is finding the right music sometimes. It affects the mood of the whole piece so much I just want it to be right.
Nice lights! My editing is getting better, but where I struggle is how to select the right music for my videos. Some guidance on genre's or moods for certain scenes would be helpful.
Ahoi Zdenka 😲👍🏻
Amazing gimmick.
Looking to get back into making videos again…my last uploads were shot on pocket video camera and miniDV. Anxious for my gimbal to arrive as I had attempted to make a steadycam back in the day. These lights look awesome!
Getting material that matches my vision when I sit down to edit. I have one idea when inshoot, then another when I edit sometimes. And a they don’t always line up.
Watched your video. Bought one. Fell in love. Bought three more, bought a case for them and added strong magnets to the backs. Went out on a week long film project and found myself using them CONSTANTLY for fill lights or just fun accents. So… THANK YOU (Děkuji)
Wow…. Thank you very much for sharing. Are you serious?? I am glad it is serving the purpose for you.
@@ZdenkaDarula totally serious.
@@TheFPSChannel that is awesome. I am very happy to hear that
Should I buy one then? What do you use yours for?
Hi Lenka, nice video. my question is, whether the light Weeylite S03 RGB can work in case I need more time than one hour and I will connect this light to power bank? Have a nice day, Alexander
I struggle with consistent lighting between scenes. I always have. Editing each scene so the lighting looks like it is from the same world.
And as to this video, awesome as always!
I never thought I could be impressed by a light, but your description surely impressed me, particularly for under $30. One video editing thing I am struggling with is choosing the right music to give my video the feeling I want to convey. One other thing I’m struggling with: how to get the best audio when using an iPhone 12 Pro and Hohem iSteady X gimbal
Cool! My biggest struggle with editing is my computer, I think. I have a Macbook AIr, with very little storage so I use an external hard drive to store everything. But, my computer still struggles at times to process and drives me crazy at times. I would like to learn about different ways to cover jump cuts. Thanks for the contest!
Oh Geeze! I stink at video everything. My specialty is fine art photography with images that are surreal. However, my goal this year is to incorporate creative short video clips that are also fine-art. This cool little light would provide a moody vibe that I love. Thank you for sharing with us your new find.
My biggest struggle is definitely... lighting, Thanks for another great video.
Wow pretty cool. I’m definitely going to get me one. Or hopefully I win one. Hahah good luck to all. But to answer the questions you ask. I’m fairly new to the photography game. And I also started messing with DaVinci Resolve. And to learn how to edit with how to do what’s called B-Roll. And to know when to add the b-roll. And of course just learning the whole davinci program. But anyway thanks for all your awesome help you provide to us in your channel. Thanks. 👍👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My biggest struggle is storyboarding or planning a shoot. I'm trying to do product showcases. I end up with a bunch of different clips of the product, but no real game plan to stitch them together into a coherent piece. Really cool lights! thanks for the heads up!
One of my struggle is lighting products that has a very reflective surface and with editing it would be selecting the right sound track to pair up with the video. Thank you for your content.
Great video. Thanks. Struggling with adding graphics, transitions, overlays. Banners etc.
CONGRATULATIONS! You are the winner of one of the RGB lights. Please connect with me via my email on my website zdenkadarula.com or PM me on Instagram... Cheers
Great video thank you. I am struggling with editing in general. I want to learn how to make things flow better and not look so cheesy. Thank you.
I am just starting to learn how to edit videos. My biggest struggle right now is learning how to transition well and trying to add a personal style without it looking silly.
Another great Video...
I struggle with making my clips to long. I use a lot of drone footage and clips of just flying around are boring. I'm am working on making shorter clips and picking up the pace of my videos.
Thanks, Zdenka Darula.
You are very welcome
Well, my biggest struggling when editing is color grading. Some times is hard for me to keep the same tone in cinematic films. I would like to learn that. Thanks!
Hi Zdenka....struggling with? Trying to use Davinci Resolve to make my videos look more polished / professional. Still very much an amateur. I'd like to learn how to be better at editing and better at editing from stationary mounted cameras on my aircraft. Thanks
I love your channel. I would like help on color grading log video.
I'm struggling with finding a go-to editing software.. unsure between adobe premier or Lumafusion or final cut pro. I'd like to get better at color grading. Thank you!
