I agree with you and that the single advantage of the Apurture has its been able to fit in the small spots, but I canβt imagine where I would personally need that. Controlling all my lighting with one app is awesome...I do wish aputure would make a median size rgb light tho! Cant afford there $1700 one.

With the weeylite you could probably use adhesive tape on magnets to get them to stick to metal.

La luz me llega el martes por cierto, he descubierto tu canal precisamente buscando informaciΓ³n sobre luces pequeΓ±as RGB para usar en mi "estudio casero" donde grabo los vΓdeos para mi canal...Debido a no tener una sala que pueda acondicionar y usar luces caseras..he ido apaΓ±Γ‘ndome como podΓa...pero poco a poco va mejorando la cosa y en los prΓ³ximos espero que los tonos de piel queden mejor ahora que voy a eliminar mis paneles led caseros. Can you do gunfire with the Weeylite app? One click, one muzzle flash?
Still trying to find a way to do gunfire light interaction organically.
First time hearing about Weeylite and it seems to be a great alternative to Aputure. Both are really expensive here in Brazil (since it needs to be imported), so I probably won't be getting them, but it's nice to know there are options out there.

I ordered 3 from B&H at the last minute, after heavy researching of other lights that were similar. B&H is a wonderful store and supply source. But they advertise products that were not available and i didn't have time for preordering. So i got the wee RB9 as my 1st RGB light kit.

I heard it gets warm when you use it. Is it something you noticed or bothered you?
Hey! Well, after using it a lot it seems to shut down when hot and you canβt really plug it in for continuous light, as it shuts down as well. The Atomcube RX7 seems amazing, although Iβve only used it for a couple of weeks. Also the Moman mlx has performed really well over two months. Check out my reviews and Iβll be happy to answer any questions if any. Both lights seem more stable than the Weeylite and they are equally as bright or brighter(!)

That looks like an amazing little light, I recently bought the Aputure MC, but might get this one as well. However, when I click the affiliate link, it takes me to a ring light, not the RB9. Anyone else get this?

So do you no longer recommend this light cause it doesnβt stay on when charging or canβt be used for a long period of time without shutting off?
Well, it depends on your needs. Itβs great for sessions around 90 minutes. If you need longer check out some newer reviews Iβve done. Get back to me if you have any doubts!

It's been 2 years now, I'm interested to know if this Weeylite is still working. I've gotten several non name brand RGB lights and the things always wind up failing within a year. So, are all of yours still working? Thank you!
Hey! All of my pocket rgb lights are still working. However, I was sent a replacement for the rb9 with upgraded firmware, as I had an early version of that light.
This is a good comparison. Because everyone cannot afford an Aperture MC RGB lights where as the Weelite RGB is affordable and of good quality...

Yes, but maybe on a lower intensity ;)
can the weeylite stay on while charging?
Not really. Iβve tried and it does gives you about 10-15 minutes extra on 100% intensity while charging.
How about the longetivity? Weeylite doesn't last more than 6months, and doesn't charge while using it anymore. All these RUclipsrs are paid to promote the weeylite rb9,it's a junk. Go read Amazon review instead
