The credit card sized RGB light APUTURE MC, also known as al-mc, is finally back in stock! After using it for a few weeks I've discovered where you will use it most. It' great for product photography, but is this little aputure rgb light strong enough for bigger sets?

I just did a review of the Falcon Eyes F7 Min and really liking it as an alternative to this light.
Cool! Will check it out. Haven’t tried Falcon F7, but there are soooo many small led lights that are better (or more fictional) than the Aputure MC...
Do you think this light would be sufficient for macro photography to allow for a small enough aputure to get more of the subject in focus?

These are so fucking cool! As someone just getting into making videos I've realised lighting adds so much. As a drummer I need 2 of these to throw up and magnet to my overhead mic stands. And the wireless charging is so cool, even my smartphone doesn't have that!
Hmmm, clever said the downside 'I need more', meaning it is not enough bright (you would need at least two) as Andycine R1 is bright (or Pilotfly RX1), but this is to be expected, MC is much smaller.
Great review mate. Only thing I’d mention is that the 120d ii unfortunately can not be controlled by the Sidus app.

Do you think it could be my key if I get like 4 of them and use it as one? In a setting with already existing lighting like a restaurant. It looks good for run and gun
Good question. Imho I’d rather get a cheap spot light for the key light. You would probably use a diffuser on the key and I’m not sure 4 mc’s would be strong enough. Even though the restaurant might be dimly lit, I doubt these lights would do the job properly. I love the MC and I’m gonna buy more, but in your case I’d start off by getting a cheap spot light and maybe one MC? ;)

I heard the app has problems with Android. Can I use the full potential of the app with the MC with an Android phone?
Hey! You should be able to use the full potential with an Android phone. There are some negative feedback of users on both Android and iOS apps, but Sidius is very quick to answer and come up with a solution. I have never had any issues with my app :)

No, it’s not waterproof. I have a video on a small led light which is waterproof, but it’s only daylight led. It’s called Lumecube. Hope this helps :)

@@PaulHeimlund You are quick mate... I was watching your other videos .. just completed the 50 mm one .. never thought about flipping the lens for macro. I had tried with a Nikon 35mm but the results were not good because of the holding issue... Also, thanks for the artlist.io... music is nice.. I'm still in the learning phase of resolve so will take a while before I join youtube creation :)

Biggest downside with it is the sidus link app. If ur phone dies while its connected theres no way to reset the light and it just stops working wont turn on or off wont reset wont connect to bluetooth nothing

Good video, but WHY use the clickbait title?? Whole thing boils down to a lame joke in the last 20 seconds. When you make good content, you don't need cheap tricks. Makes the whole thing feel shady.
Hey! I never intended it to be that clickbaity. My point didn’t come across as clearly as I wanted. In the video I say “I need more”, where the sentence “you need more than one” was planned. So, my point is you should get at least two of these lights to spice up your shots.
