These sentences are ridiculous - the courts are too lenient to warrant this amount of effort and cost in stopping these criminals
All by design, they want us to accept the AI surveillance state. First they have to create enough fear.........
The problem is that sentences are light because too many people don't see them as serious enough, and the court aren't the issue, Magistrates are bound to follow Sentencing Guidelines as are Crown Court Judges, the problem is legislation and the government, some out of date Court of Appeal judgments too, but Parliament doesn't legislate sentences harsh enough, and Sentencing Guidelines limit the power to impose the maximum even still.
Meanwhile other offences which most people see as petty or minor routinely result in harsh sentences which are not warranted, particularly concerning drugs.
@@PCDelorian Private prisons dont help either as they are only profitable when full so the legislation will be swayed in their favour, the whole subject around drugs is complex,
if legalized, then it can be controlled (mainly) and the government would benefit from taxes, if decriminalised then your job and the courts would be able to concentrate on more serious issues. This obviously couldnt be done overnight. its a generational timeline with a huge social change, question is wether its worth it to the powers that be.?

Here in The Netherlands the car is insured and not the individual driving it. Thus, I can drive any car I want. In contrary to that in the UK the person is insured and not the vehicle being driven. And the owner of the vehicle has to put a person, that will drive that vehicle, on the insurance policy. This means that a person that has stolen a car is driving without insurance.
When you watch chases, pursuits in the US, here on RUclips, you will see that chased people drive on the rim.

US cops dont have much police education either. In some states it is as low as a few days.
In Norway it is 3-4 years of studying at a bachelor-level.

That cop thinking you only have scales if you are distributing is so wrong. Most folk I know only use, and they have scales to make sure they are getting the correct weight when buying.
Most competition airgunners use them as well, to get all pellets the same weight, as different weights take different trajectories.

Police aren't required to wear a seatbelt. Same with Firefighters. They may have it off for the fastest possible exit from the vehicle when needed (and for kitting up whilst on the move, in firefighters' case). So chill. She isn't doing anything illegal.
