  • Following the dramatic work of recovery crews as they trace, track and tow
vehicles driven illegally on Britain’s roads.
In this episode: a woman is picking up her car after an arson attempt on it. Lending her car to a friend has been a costly mistake. And Northampton Police are made aware of a vehicle nearby which is linked to theft. The officer tracks down the vehicle and speaks to the driver. Although the vehicle is linked to theft, the officer has no proof that shows the driver is linked to the crime...

Just because the tow vehicle he drives is the largest in the fleet where he works, doesn't equate to it being the largest tow vehicle capable of carrying a passenger car and towing what is effectively another recovery vehicle. Furthermore, the other vehicle was a beaver tail vehicle meaning that attempting to tow it behind the recovery vehicle would not allow enough ground clearance. You clearly forgot to switch on your brain before getting on your high horse and leaving a comment that only served to make you look foolish.

Wrong, it’s about safety but that costs money. People like you are the ones that run on no insurance, un registered cars that couldn’t pass inspection to save your life. Those are the cars that cause the accidents and can’t afford the costs so the victims and the city pay which drive up costs for everyone else. The answer is to hire people to check everyone and get those cars off the road before the accident happens. That costs money.
