In the end the police are only here to protect corporations not individuals, so it makes sense that the cop wouldn't want to get involved.

I thought most officers carried examination gloves in case they have to touch someone with blood or other bodily fluids. The courteous thing to do would be for an officer to wipe it off for her. A cop with no wipes to clean up? I doubt it. Check out what Michael H commented though: "if the man had spit on the cop car they would have had no issue coming up charges for it." I think they would have hit him with something, rather than just go to the car wash.
MEX_cuz_I_CAN or the common sense thing to do would be for this woman to learn how to drive and not call the police for nonsense

They got it as a road rage incident with violence probably.
Road rage can quickly the violent, especially in a country where 25% of people (in some places like probably RI less, in some places more) have a gun on their person or in their car at any given time.
If two random people get into a road rage incident, there's a 50% chance that one of them has a gun on or readily available to them.

I lived on Boston’s Beacon Hill for several years. I never perceived much of an accent among Bostonians except for South Boston (Southfield). Providence, on the other hand, tends to have more of that “Bostonian” accent. But like Boston, it varies by neighborhood.

I think there was a second spitter. The angle was all wrong and, it hit the rear of her car from the right.
Personally, I think there was 3. The thickness of the saliva is underwhelming in the upper left quadrant, and given a rough estimate of the man's age to be anywhere between 45-65, tells us a very different story....

Really it's never good to escalate a situation. Imagine you get road rage and work the other man/woman up so much that they have a stroke or heart attack. Not everyone can handle a scare like that or they might be delusional.

Heres some validated advice from experience with a police report & no arrest on either party.. a road rage incident occurred the other vehicles passenger got out and ran to my vehicle as I seen him coming my way so quickly I knew his intentions were dangerous I then cracked my door and i aimed my firearm at the individual I had my family along with me I chose no chances to be taken only reason I did not need to fire was because he stopped immediately in his tracks and turned around got back in their vehicle. Lesson learned, in any road rage incident any person who steps out of their vehicle is immediately in the wrong! Legally no excuses. Stay in your vehicle it's not worth dying over or jail.
