Don't you wish you could go back to 1962 and get a box or few of dimes, quarters, or halves at a bank then? 100% silver! You know how heavy the boxes are, and imagine that weight in silver!
Nice hunt! That's cool I can see you also find Canadian silver as well. I'd love to know the year of that beaten up dime... I also do dimes these days, and find quite a few silver in the equivalent of 3 boxes. I found 2 x 1966 which are 80%, 1 x 1867-1967 Centennial "Mackerel" that ends up being also 80% (The Mint dropped to 50% half way through the year, and also made some, so only sound test can quickly determine which it is), and finally 1 x 1968 50% which is our last silver year split with 100% nickel. You're right that sometimes we get skunked and sometimes it happens I find not a single silver hunting the same quantity. We have to enjoy digging the ones we find... It's still a very interesting hobby. I yet have to find an American silver in my Canadian rolls, that would be cool...
How the heck do you get so many boxes?? Only two banks in my town won’t sell boxes they get boxes they put in bags, and won’t sell them only 5-8 rolls at a time. Bank closest to me is 25 miles away and you have to have an account with them. Frustrating
You jinx yourself after the fourth like you said LOL
Congratulations finding silver. Nice video.
