    The Three Rs are
    Reduce
    Re-use
    Recycle
Also, if you are interested in discovering the Mystery behind The Disappearance of the Dwarves, you MAY want to do a few chores for Edwinna in the Ald'ruhn Mages Guild. I hear she is an enthusiast in Dwemer architecture.

Names are tricky in this game. In my mind, I pronounce it Dye vith Fear. But who knows?😅 Baladas is my favorite 😊. He's often overlooked by a lot of people because he's not essential to the main quest. But he's so smart and curious.

Perfect! A relaxing video to end the week. When Sings-Like-Cor was in the Corprusarium, I think you have to find a drum🪘 that is actually her drum specifically. It *should* say 'Uupse Fyr's Drum', or something like that. Much like things do in Skyrim. At least I think it it works the same way?... I honestly don't know for certain.😅 I guess it's worth a try, anyway. And Trebonius... yeah, he's just weird.😂 Have a wonderful sunny spring weekend, Cor. 🍃🌱🌼

    • @Randleray
      @Randleray 5 месяцев назад +2

      Actually no.
I was just curious, because I never really cared to much for that small quest, But because Uupse refused to take the drum I googled it out of curiosity. in fact, any drum will do, but in order to complete the quest, you have to reach a far advanced point in the main quest.
Aside of that, there is also a random bug where Uupse just wont take the drum.
If the quest completes however, the inmates stop attacking the player completely, so the quest initself is actually cool, but it is sabotaged by Bethesda themselfs through bugs...

Belated happy Easter, or at least a good break!
Sings-Like-Cor's progress with House Telvanni is going rather well, it would seem.
Divayth Fyr and his tower, another unique and memorable experience. Ah! and I never realized Alfe, Beyte, Delte, and Uupse's names were based on Greek letters, that's neat. Divayth Fyr himself is cordial enough for being the oldest Dunmer alive (and a Telvanni member). The tower being far from any settlement is actually understandable. As grim as it is, the Corprusarium is more of a hospice than a hospital since Corprus is incurable.
Also, yes you have! Please remember that Sings-Like-Cor collected some useful enchanted items he can use instead of spending magicka in these situations, exploring the Corprusarium would've been less stressful if he could go undetected, right?
Anyway, I was hoping on you asking about advice on Trebonius' task around the guild, those lines are priceless (and they do help understand what may be going on with the Vvardenfell Mages Guild)! At least in Sings-Like-Cor's case, it may be the most likely task to be completed though it is difficult to get all the necessary informations. But I'm sure Sings-Like-Cor will be up to the task!

    • @CorCanishPlus
      @CorCanishPlus  4 месяца назад +1

I did, thanks! Had a long break, so catching up with everything now. Fyr is an amazing character - truly encapsulates so many epic things about Morrowind!
And thanks for pointing out the difference between a hospice and a hospital - was unaware! Quite sad to consider... Glad we left them alone, though yes, chameleon'ing around them would've been easier... 😅
I love Trebonius! He would've been much better suited in the Telvanni faction, but it's also okay that he is where he is causing dysfunction in the Mages Guild. We will try and help him uncover the secrets of the Dwemer regardless, since he asked us politely.

The Corpusariam is so much fun. I don't think I ever got far enough in the Mage's Guild to deal with the Archmage, but he sounds both a frustrating boss but also one it's easy to fool, so that balances out! I hope you enjoyed your Easter.

    Hello hello! 😊😊
A lovely day to go adventuring with a lovely lizard, I'd say 😁
Intriguing plans in this episode! And a promising title! 😜
Sings edging carefully around the walls of the Mages Guild to avoid Interactions™....gotta say it, #relatable 😆
"We'll find a way to make [Jobasha] open up to us..."
Sings, dear lad, with your body count growing at an alarming rate, that sentence might sound a bit worrying to some.
Not us! We know you. But, you know. To guards. Ordinators. And other boring folk 😜
Yassss, say no to fast fashion, Sings-like-Cor! 🤩 (Except, like, Fortify Speed enchanted stuff, I guess.)
"You could have a dual career as a guard and a model..."
*Hlaalu Guard blushes fiercely under his helmet*
Ooooh and we are going on a Fyr visit!! 🤩 Always a great idea, always a good time.
Also - it really pays off, being a part of the Telvanni gang, I see! 😁 Potions and helpful spells are being tossed at Sings pretty much 24/7 😅
As far as I remember, there's only a couple of specific netches that are hostile, somewhere by the West Coast - the rest should be safe to move past.......but a scholar should always be on their guard, of course 🧐😜😁
Hah, Sings dashing through the water must have translated as "Juicy Argonian Steak On Sale Right Now Come And Get It Time-Limited Offer!!" to all slaughterfish nearby, I bet 😆😆😁
Oh, yes, dear old Divayth even remembers the Tribunal before their, ah, ascencion, I think! Which was a couple thousand years back. Sings-like-Cor, I hope you brought a lot of notebooks or parchment scrolls to take notes while you're there, because I bet you can't find a better lecturer in all of Tamriel 🧐😁
Servant's Skull....I forgot they were called that!
What sort of servant, exactly? Not of the beastfolk races, that is for certain, but why the, ehm, bondage? 🧐🤔😆 Did they wear such a decoration in life? Were the skulls damaged and thus need to be tied together? Or is it for hanging the skull somewhere like a morbid windchime...? 😜
Gahhh, I love the Fyr household. Delightfully creepy and unusual and scholarly.
(By the way, interesting that we have never seen a fully-bearded Dunmer. Like a bushy, Nord-like beard. They're obviously able to grow hair there, so I presume it's a cultural preference to sport trimmed moustaches instead. Probably to fuel the "intellectually superior" image they're trying to convey 😆
Divayth is cool! A bit blunt, too, but after so many years, I suppose he really dislikes wasting time with meaningless pleasantries when he could be doing Actually Important Stuff instead 😅
But just you wait, Lord Fyr, this lovely lizard will make your jaw drop, yet! 😎
Also: the coded messages - Daedric script I could read, but they're actually coded underneath! Good thing the hard-working internet folk already cracked it; an interesting little piece of conversation between two powerful wizards.
"He is coughing his greatness onto us."
Quote of the Week, that is 😂😂😂
(Also I feel like that could easily be a standard student saying at the Arcane University that Sings just murmurs around wise old scholars through pure force of habit 😅)
Vishta-Kai is such an intriguing character!
The fact that he was a slave, but Divayth apparently doesn't follow the usual Telvanni approach to those; the fact that he doesn't mind living in a secluded tower with only the Fyr, ehh, family as his (sane) company - though they do make for fascinating housemates, I'm sure!; the fact he speaks of other guards yet we only see him...
But I bet he is happy to see another Argonian. Especially one that is as polite and curious as dear Sings!
    (1/2)

    • @Hervissa
      @Hervissa 5 месяцев назад

      (2/2)
      Corprus!
I wonder, what is "Blight disease", then? Seeing as there are potions and spells to cure _that_ ?
A precursor? A different sort of ailment altogether? A different _way_ of getting sick, like with the stochastic (any dose means a risk of getting sick)/deterministic (severity of damage dependent on dose) effects of radiation...? 🤔
      Hmm.
And how are both of these actually transmitted? Particles in the air? Bloodstream-through-injury? Hmmmmm.
At any rate, the Corprusarium patients are unique, in a way. Maybe there is still some sentience and understanding deep inside somewhere, maybe they are just mindless husks now - but in those bowels, they are safe and cared for as the sapient beings they used to be.
      And that's really nice.
Oh, but you're most likely right about the stench. Although we don't know if they're decomposingas such, maybe it's more unhindered cancerous growths kind of stuff...?
But I wonder whether they still got to feed and expel waste...
(The huge cauldron by Uupse suggests there is some soup-kitchen situation at play there, though that could be for Yagrum alone, who knows! 😅)
Divayth's wives/daughters/companions are incredibly interesting, too.
He "made" them - from his own flesh? Using a, uhh, surrogate mother of some sort? Are they magically lab-grown? Some semblance of parthenogenesis?
      So many questions!!
Yet they're all unique and with different personalities (and possibly different looks, too, Morrowind graphics permitting...😅), so they can't be carbon copies.
(... do you think Nerevar ever went about killing his enemies by forcibly putting his ring on their fingers to get those sweet sweet instant kills? 😂)
Ooooh, that was a thrilling chase for the drum! 😮😬
And all the chests! Could be worth it to come back one day with some Open Lock spell scrolls to check them out... 😜😁
The drum situation is likely bugged; can be fixed with a console command to "move the quest ahead" (found via UESP), but it's probably not worth the hassle...
Yagrum is SUCH a dear guy.
Can't wait for Sings to chat more with him, down the main quest line... 😜😁
(Ahhh, and you haven't read the Tamrielic Lore book! 🥺 Next time, I know. Already is Sings' mind floodes with an onslaught of new information 😆😁)
Will anybody believe Sings-like-Cor when he claims to have spoken with an actual, living Dwemer? 🤔
I think it's such an outlandish statement to most of the population (on Vvardenfell and possibly beyond) that he'd have a hard time convincing them... 🤔😁
Oooh, and you already have the Mark and Recall spells!! Mightily useful, those are 😁
You know, it's kinda curious - but the Telvanni wizards must have some sort of magical messaging system in place for communicating with their Mouths. Mysticism-like, similar to the teleportation spells of the guild guides. Otherwise there'd have to be courriers running endlessly back and forth, which is plausible but then - those could deliver the goods and stuff instead of new aspiring Telvanni members, no...? 🤔
...Ah, mabye I'm babbling, now 😝😆
I'm astonished at Trebonius' tasks. Excellently ridiculous writing, that 😅😅
And oooh, does Sings-like-Cor smell _another_ organisation that could be taken over? 😜🤔😁
(At any rate, the game-makers perfectly captured that "my boss is a real pain in the arse, but this is a Prestigious Workplace™ so I can't risk antagonising him directly" vibe such a big-city-branch of the Guild has 😜
(As compared to the more "family-like" atmosphere of the other guild-halls...)
      Well!
Another lovely episode spent by Sings' side 😊 And he's learning so much about the world around him! 😁
Hope you had a good trip, wherever you were packing for, and that the spring sunrays are good for your soul ☀️
Thanks for sharing your Vvardenfell joy with us as always! Looking forward to the Sky-craft mashup! 😁

As always, Hervissa: I hope you're a part or full time writer, because your stuff is gold! Also hope all is well on your side
No fear of hurting Jobasha - we will have to get him to like us with good old fashioned bribing and constructive insincere flattery! But yes, we need Sings-Like-Cor to not get too desensitised about death and inflicting harm on others.
Thanks for the tip about hostile West Coast netches! We will treat carefully there.
Divyath having recollections before the Tribunal is a WILD consideration! Would love full lectures from him about all past Red Mountain eruptions, Dwemer infrastructure, pre-Tribunal society etc. Another time, maybe another game... I'm sure he survived the latest eruption of Red Mountain! But overall, our visit at Fyr's is one of my favourite moments so far. Can't wait to engage more with him in the main quest! Just need to gain his trust and attention when we start posing as the Nerevar. And yes, make his handsomely bearded jaw drop!!
We might do some pathology studies to separate blight and corprus ailments as I am quite confused at this point! Even how they're are transmitted is obscure, but we will catch up at the end of the main quest. Not catch up with more infections, but catch up with some pathology research of course!
And, ew ew, I don't a drop of whatever soup Uupse is brewing in that cauldron!!
"Read Tamrielic Lore book" added to the to do-list!
Interesting if Sings-Like-Cor did head out and start telling people about his encounter with an actual Dwemer person!! One stark thing I remember from old gameplays was finishing the Tribunal DLC main quest and no one in Mournhold believing the achievements of my character. Would likely be the same reaction if one proclaimed to have interacted with a Dwemer. No smartphone cameras or social media to publish photographic evidence in this world unfortunately! He needs to write a book one day though
Oh yes, and test Mark and Recall spells has been added to the to do-list!
In terms of mouth-wizard communication in the Telvanni, I unconsciously assumed they did so through the massive crystals in the middle and in many wizard lords. But never thought it out loud before you mentioned it here! My curiosity is indeed piqued. Perhaps some kind of electromagnetic tethering over long distances? Or just pure old Elder Scrolls-magic. But would make sense, I think? Needs to be addressed though!!
Thanks again for the seriously reflective insights!! Feeds the imagination

@@CorCanishPlus Always happy to be of literary service, haha 😁😁
And regarding corprus: there is an excellent piece of writing made by the Skywind mod team, "Corprus Research Logs", basically Divayth's diary of his experiments and findings, that deals with precisely what you mentioned - corprus transmission and effect on infected host etc., although as far as I recall, the blight/corprus difference isn't fully clear there, either... - and it's a really enjoyable read!
      (With incredible illustrations, too 😊)
It's not canon, as far as I know, but the author tried to extrapolate from that which we see and hear in-game to create a believable scientific journey - and it works very well 🧐😁
Thought you might also find it a fascinating document, if you ever find yourself bored on a Saturday night and all that 😉😁
Have a sunny day! (Ha, ha, says I, knowing full well the mischievous nature of Irish weather 😜😁😁)
