Enjoyed the video, as always! Just in case you didn't know, if you're on OpenMW, there is an option to change the color of dialogue topics. If you've already heard what the NPC has to say about a specific subject, it will appear gray and the ones with information you haven't heard yet will be either blue or tan. It helped save me from reading the same "little advice" and "little secret" tips 50 million times 😆. OpenMW Laucher ----> Advanced ---> Interface ---> Change dialogue topic color.

Great timing, Cor. I needed a calm and pleasant stroll through your video.😊 This whole week has been weird - and it was only Wednesday.😂 I say 'was', because it literally just passed midnight here. Yeah, I'm a night owl.🦉😄 That sunrise towards the beginning, was really nice - and quite sudden. And those Grazelands... well, hostile is a good word for them. If you were a Bosmer, you could just use the "Command Beast" perk, that all Bosmer have. It is a pretty area though. Concerning Jobasha, I wonder if you maybe bought more books from him, if that would raise his Persuasion level?! 🤔 It might be worth a try, but I would definitely quick save first, just in case. Although, that might mean a visit to see Creeper first. Books can get expensive. Anyway, best wishes and have a wonderful day. Take care. 🌼🍃🍀☘

Delighted you jumped along, Kimber Blue! Some glorious moments, but still afraid of walking through the Grazelands. Needs lots, lots and lots of potions 😳 Will have to get back to Creeper yes. I hope Jobasha will like us if we buy more books. Worth an experiment for sure 🥳 I feel the week has felt weird with the 29th of February hitting us again after 4 years of absence 😂

Hello hello! Happy to see you and Sings back in action! 😊
(And wow, you can't even start talking about politics in Vvardenfell without some highly-opinionated wildlife attacking you for your beliefs 🙄🙄🙄😜)
And yeah! Bonewalkers are fascinating - bones and steel pitons and who know what else holding Old Uncle Jerry together...so he can guard the tomb of his family because he was a bit of a shithead in life.
(If I remember the lore correctly 😁)
(So they aren't corprus-related, actually - but don't worry, Sings will encounter plenty Blight-deformed folk on his travels...!)
Aw, I recall seeing those housewarming eggs! Such a lovely little detail. Vos gets bonus points for being The Best Neighbourhood so far.
Also, "master Aryon grew XYZ for us" in terms of architecture is just - so delightfully morrowind-ish! 😁😁
And!!! I am not sure whether the Skywind team showed off Tel Vos or just Vos in their latest streams, but yeahhhh, that's gonna look mightily epic in a newer engine - hopefully!
And the metaphor of unruly and unstoppable Telvanni roots infiltrating Imperial-style bricks and strict angles...yeah, narratively delicious 😎
(Speaking of bonewalkers: while I suppose it's okay for native Dunmer to conjure them up, an outlander summoning one should be a huuuge social misstep as you're quite literally stealing somebody's grandpa for your own purposes 😂)
Awww, your joy upon entering the Dwemer museum was very contagious 😊😊😁
And I forgot there is an Imperial museum as well! And with a living specimen, too! 😂
Oh, that is SOMETHING. Morrowind did not hold back. (Neither did Master Aryon.)
...one wonders whether this is meant to be a not-so-subtle critique of the way the Imperial West looks at the East through a specific, "oh how romantic, exotic and unnatural" lens, all earthly parallels included - or whether he simply thinks it's funny.
Probably both, as I don't see Aryon as somebody who'd _actually_ be enamored with the _idea_ of the Empire, wondering about these faraway neighbors of the elves without seeing the truth of the real thing.
But the fact that master Aryon has a large Imperial banner right behind him is endlessly intriguing as well.
Is he pro-Empire in his politics? Does that clash with his Imperial Museum? Is it to confuse his visitors?
(Also, I did _not_ have "I am here for your fluids." on the 2024 Sings-like-Cor bingo card, but hey, life's full of surprises 😂)
And you voice the NPCs so so well! I've already said that a dozen times BUT I SHALL DO SO AGAIN because listening to Aryon-you made me forget the game wasn't actually fully dubbed. Again! 😁😁😁
Intriguing Nerevar lore. So many conflicting accounts of historical events!
(The only thing everybody agrees on is that he was a hunk, I guess 😂)
(Also, VERY interesting that Aryon says "Dunmer tribes" in Veloth's times, when back then, they were still Chimer...! Maybe a simplified version for outlanders...? 🤔)
And Cor WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO POOR SINGS DO YOU WANT HIM TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK MID-AIR 😂😂😂
Levitating is a dangerous game, come to think of it. But tempting, too!
...huh, I wonder where you got that Ash Curse spell. Very interesting!
Re: Gnisis sleeping arrangements - the Temple building usually has beds just next to the entrance that you can use for free, if nobody else is there, I think 😁
Is Baladas a reverse sphinx of some sort? Answered your questions three, now on a book hunt off you be? 😜😁🤓
    Corprus meet-cute! Of sorts.
You two really hit it off right away, striking fellow that he was, but although it seemed there was a proper spark between you, it fizzled out in a shocking turn of events...
    😜😁
(Joking aside, it's actually quite dark to realize that was a person. Who became a warped version of themselves through the sinister influence of the Blight as its sickness spread through their body. And they may appear mindless, but we don't really know what exactly they feel and sense and think --- I am not even sure if they have some sort of dialogue window if one were to hit them with a strong enough Calm spell, like Ash Slaves (?) do...)
(And I wonder whether this stalker in particular made his(?) way to the shop just by chance/through the Sixth House nefarious schemes, or whether there's some semblance of a lingering memory of the place that drew him there...)
    Hmm.
But yeah, at any rate, Sings did deserve at least, like, a potion or a promise of a discount or something. Town full of wizards and they need a lizard to do the job...! 😜😅
    An amulet the lady covets!
Fifty years here or there, Dratha, who's counting, right? 😜
The Telvanni lords and ladies are just using Sings as a thug for hire, feels like; imagine their surprise when he rises above them all...!
...ah, Grazelands. Where you can't throw a stone without hitting something hostile and charging toward you already.
And poor Sings, his Ashlander experiences so far can be summarized as "Hello, I come in peace -" "Stoopid n'wah, you'll end up in PIECES!" 😅
Hope he can retain his kind spirit and scholarly determination; dealing with these folk will require a lot of patience.
Blessed be the Interventions, for without them we'd all be screwed 😂
Yes, the calm interiors of Vivec City is exactly what Sings needs right now. And YES, BOOKS. Balm for the soul scarred by brutal wildlife and dark deeds both.
Jobasha's shop is also a favourite location of mine! Such a cozy place. Except the ever-present Ordinators, I suppose, but such is the Will Of Lord Vivec, eh?
(And yes, there is an Argonian with a connection to the shop, your memory does not deceive you 😉😁)
Let us leave Sings-like-Cor sitting among the carefully-bound books, hopefully with the owner of the place gradually warming up to our scaly Telvanni scholar - hey, maybe he's just intimidated by the robe. And Sings' acquired aura of danger. All Sings need is an hour or two of excited fauna-flora-geography chat and Jobasha will become just as enchanted as we are! 😊😁
Thank you for another lovely episode, I always look forward to joining both you and Sings on your travels! 😊
(Started a new Morrowind playthrough recently, an Unarmored/Hand to Hand combo because I was curious how well that would hold up - surprisingly well, it turns out! Nobody is immune to having their Fatigue drained by Khajiit claws...and it's great fun to strike my armed&armoured opponents down every time they try to rise from the floor 😆😅)
(And I'm noticing more and more little things, now, I think, much thanks to your gaming style - like mushrooms growing through the skeletal remains of long-dead adventurers.)
Have a great day/week/fortnight, ideally all of them - and stay strong and hopeful! 😊

Hahahaha, I didn't realise that that guar attack was quite well timed. But you're right, someone didn't like the topic at hand! Don't know why I remember the bonewalkers as corprus creatures, but phew nonetheless
Interesting also with Aryon, I only noted the huge Empire banner as I was editing the episode... So much to uncover there. I was likely too overwhelmed at that point.
Delighted that the voice work is okay! Need something with honey in it though. Very rough on the throat after a few conversations, but fun to do
Thanks for the tip about the beds in the Temple! Will utilise for sure
The corpus guy was likely a dashing person yes! It would be interesting with a diary of someone who got the disease and had notes on what the infected went through
Ahhh, concerning the Argonian!! I remember there was something about it. Really curious what that could be now, so looking forward to stumbling upon it
Best of luck punching and clawing your way through to Nerevarine-hood
Thanks for tuning in and sharing your always entertaining observations!

I'm managed to catch-up your Morrowind videos last week ! Life was very complicated those last month, I feel bad I didn't have the energy to support your let's play because I love your work so much. If I can I'll try to let a comment under each episode 😊
I didn't catch up the video you talked about at the beginning of this episode, but I don't understand why certain people are complaining. It's YOUR channel, so you can talk about every subject that interest you. Personally, I'm glad you talked about the current events. I feel like nowadays we can't ignore situations like this anymore. Certain actions just can't be tolerate anymore.
    I wish you a great day! 😄

Right, the "Ash Curse" being a spell is a bug which may happen when fighting Senise Thindo over the Drake's Pride robe. Bad luck that you had to encounter this bug, but you can simply delete the spell, should be doable by holding shift then click on the spell in the list. Thanks to the UESP Wiki for the reminder!
Anyway, Tel Vos is quite a sight, isn't it? Both from the outside and from the inside, just need to be careful about creatures lurking in some of its darkest corridors.
The Grazelands are also a beautiful but dangerous place, as Sings-Like-Cor experienced first-hand. The frustration and panic of going from one hostile encounter to another without time to rest, then ending up with a chain of enemies wanting a bite of you, to finally teleport away to the nearest shrine. Ah, good ol' Morrowind...

You really need a means of making somewhat constant money. As a low level character its not too easy, since dungeon diving is not the best option for that.
You want to put your alchemical skill to use. You dont have to actually produce serious potions. Just find any alchemist/apothecary that sells salt rice and haund meat. Those two are very cheap and most traders sell them in bulk (and actually restock instantly). Mix them together with what tools you have and make fatigue potions. No matter your skill, you will get more money out of selling those potions, than you have to spent for the ingredients. Plus, leveling alchemy.
This is not exactly a spoiler, it really is just to lift the very much unnecessary struggle like in the grazelands, since with that nice income, you could buy much needed health and magica potions.
Also, you might want to declutter your inventory, there is a lot of stuff you could very well just store in the free rooms of the mages guild.
You dont have to spam the alchemy hussle, just every now and then with small stacks of 10 or 20 ingredients. And it really is just so you dont have to think twice just for taking a boat.

    • @CorCanishPlus
      @CorCanishPlus  6 месяцев назад +1

You talk about your message at the end of your last main video and how its effecting you mentally, I get it
I've been an advocate for Ukraine and its people in my own life and follow the war in detail and it can get exhausting. I can only recommend that when you feel that way take a break. Avoid it for a few days. I know it seems wrong to take a break when bad things happen but there is only so much a person can do that is far away. Raise awareness when you can but rest when you need to. no shame in that.
Haven't watched the rest of your video yet but felt I had to say that now. look forward to watching the rest
