This was so much more fun than the American version that I have been down a rabbit hole all week. So well done and the comedians were so much funnier.
Phil and Ed had me we wheezing with laughter and it was an absolute joy to see how much they enjoyed the banter and appreciated a great line. I absolutely love this video!
Jimmy Carr could easily be the judge himself, he's the only one judging the jokes.

@@plebiansociety I thought about that too… but in this case… it was just so perfect 😂 Like, the no-contact rule is obviously to prevent violence in the case of one of the competitors getting too offended. But this was more of a loophole because they did the very opposite of violence and were both extremely into it lolol.

American comedians are just awful... The fact Kevin Hart is the only one who made it famous internationally says a lot about what America has to offer

@@vintrovariety Yeah series 5 was 2020 at the start of the year, filmed I suspect late 2019. Unfortunately I think Covid killed it off, which is a shame because there's no reason it couldn't have run much longer, surely the biggest expense was probably the talent.

Brand's words are WELL WITHIN my understanding, being 70 yo, tertiary educated, very well read in many fields and an author of 5 books. Lol. His use of big words, flowery words, pseudo-poetics, is a sure sign of intellectual pretensions, and impresses fanboys like yourself who too "wish they could sound so erudite (look it up)". In fact there's a special word for his kind -- a sesquipedalian. Look it up.
Btw, he is not funny, not smart, not articulate. He's an ex-junkie, sex addict, poseur -- a tiresome bore.

Great roasting. The female judge went with a female every time. I feel like a few of the battles got robbed, but they really nailed it.
this legit bothers me everytime! the judging def doesn't feel "official" and you can tell that they are trying to keep it interesting or something.
