A few things to make this easier. Mix all the seasoning with liquid and rice before adding chicken. If you use a regular long grain white rice, e.g basmati, you do not need to precook as Justine suggests. It will only take approx. 20 minutes for any white rice to cook. Use a ratio of 2 liquid to 1 rice. Also the chicken breast will be well cooked after 30 minutes, no longer raw. It's not a whole chicken.

This looks delicious. You might try cutting both sides of the soup can so the contents just slide out. And it's less cumbersome to mix the ingredients in a large bowl before adding the chicken. Thank you for your recipes and lovely smile.
I find most cooking shows use way too much salt. You don't need to add salt if using canned soups, veggies, broth, etc. It's not heart or kidney healthy
It is a very high sodium. Those condensed soups and the broth has tons! It can be a once in a while meal but definitely shouldn't be a weekly choice. It does look delicious though!
I made this last night. I didn't have minute rice, though, so I used the boxed spanish rice instead, and the rice got mostly cooked. Next time I will make sure I have minute rice. This dinner was alright. I loved how tender the chicken turned out, and the flavors were good. I greatly enjoyed how easy and mess free this was to make.
Friendly FYI… You are not using “one floret”. The individual small pieces are the florets. The bunch of florets together is called the head, or the crown. 😜 🥦 😜🥦😜😜🥦😜🥦😜
I would never put raw chicken in a dish that wood only need 20 min to cook ....chicken needs to cook for 1 and a half hours in order to be done....that chicken would be be cooked before placing in a dish like this geeez!!
I look at this recipe as a template. It’s easy to adapt and make it your own. Need to lower the sodium? Then do it. Need more fiber? Use brown rice and more vegetables. Want a different flavor profile? Add your own spices and aromatics. Thanks for a basic recipe that I can add a twist.

I love anything with cheese. Weren't the broccoli florets and rice dry since they cook faster than the chicken? And actually boneless chicken doesn't even need an hour in the oven.
Did you use Minute Rice? I don't have experience with this type of ri e but I know a regular rice wouldn't cook in thick, creamy stuff like this. I didn't think this one looked cooked either.

This is way over the sodium intake for a person to have a day. Especially when u added extra salt on to it when u put a very salty onion soup

I use bone in chicken in many recipes that ask for boneless breast etc i prefer bonein chicken and chops

I made this to the exact directions. The rice was still raw when it came out of the oven. I wish I had marinated the chicken prior to cooking.
