"Spurs could not beat a rug" Mr Jordan in full swing
That result vs brighton has saved evertons season
season isn't over. only a win ion the final day ensures Everton's safety
@Stuart Russell saw it more as a poor pen than great save but yes they did play well in that game
The draw with Leicester was massive too
Keep thinking that!!😂
Everton 1 arsenal 0
"Martin Keowns shortcomings " 😂😂
Tht made me LOL
It was perfect
Proper funny
Thay was good 😂
Simon was on the absolute top of his game. Loved every second.
I think he's mint " the handbag carrier dig at calvin Lewin cracked me up
@@Smith.83 not really appropriate
@kingsley3208 why ain't it?
Man City have 115 charges, Everton have 1, which was already approved of being fine by the FA
I know and yet I feel media make more noise about evertons 1 charge than city’s 115
@tomwilson8890 that's correct. And sour grapes from our rivals , trying to back stab us to stay up
The handbag comment 🤣🤣 as always Simon just pure gold and so honest 👌
1 charge vs 115 bit of a difference
One charge of what against who? If you are talking about Everton, no charges have been laid by anyone yet, there could be 116 charges, if any are ever brought.
Simon is the best thing to happen to football journalism EVER.

Simon is a pleasure to listen to and he knows what he's talking about.
He is entertaining & makes good points. The rest of Talksport is horrific.
His “American pronunciation” of Leicester is pretty great too.
He's definitely a breath of fresh air. I don't read any of the main media football journalists anymore as they're too afraid to say anything controversial or anything that would harm their relationship with clubs or players.
By doing this, they produce vanilla waffle that says nothing and is of absolutely no interest to me.
"Handbag carrier" 😂😂 Love Simon
Borderline homophobia.
@@philsmith1121 It's not woke it's just an old man with old jokes.
@@johnloftsBehave. Man's game
Let’s be right, the surprise was that Leicester won the title not that they could be relegated
Simon is a clever sod and sees right through the media and Jim White LOL
its not hard to see through jim. i honestly try not to listen when he speaks!
Jim is just saying stuff to set up Jordan to rant. They both know what they're doing. It's a performance to attract calls & comments. It's just standard talk radio.
Are u having a laugh, Simon Jordan is an absolute tosser
Great chat, Everton is not an easy game. It is going to be great end to the season. Well for one of the three. Fair play for Everton they are building a £700m stadium. No one else has done that under the current fair play rules. West Ham and Man City got free stadiums how does that fit with fair play.
Everton without DCL is not a given to beat Bournemouth. People have forgotten how good Gary O Neil's side have been
Lately? They've lost their last 3 and are second worst in the league with goals allowed. And the only team with a worse GD is Southampton. They've also only scored 4 more goals than Everton all year. Statistically they're the second worst team in the PL behind Southampton in terms of goals.
only just got beat by Man u
@@Blujonny11 Their performances against Arsenal and Spurs away should worry Everton fans.
Everton will probably have to come out and attack which suits their style of play.
@@Busher50 Bournemouth haven't played at Goodison all year. And they've lost three in a row now.
I can see Everton and Leeds winning but Leicester against West Ham, that's one of those where West Hams players are either playing for their place in the Europa Final or going through the motions to avoid injury and missing it.
Leicester had 12 men against Newcastle they had god in that side how did Newcastle not score
@@andyunsworth113 some black magic.. Leicester stays.. they win
Everton draws Bournemouth.. leeds draw too .
At this point Moyes will already know his 11 for the final
Trust me 1 person might be playing for their place, and that's Coufal, its him or Tilo Kherer. The other 10 positions are already written down, and only 1 of those might start against Leicester the rest of them don't . If we could get away with it, I'd have the FA Youth Cup winning team take the field instead.
Na
Leeds going down we deserve it need a reboot and a new team
Everton have lost to Bournemouth 4-0 twice this season, haven't they? This 'win' people expect is not coming free.
Yes but Bournemouth are already safe so they could well be on the beach.
@@CB-xr1eg But Bournemouth will be playing loose and free where Everton will be playing like they've got coal up their bums trying to make diamonds. I've learned that nothing in sports happens how we think it will, my guess is that all three lose the last day and I'm putting 50 on Inter to win the CL.
Just like Leeds fans saying "West Ham will be tired and resting players" well that ended well. Bournemouth have form against Everton and they will want to win....again.
No they haven't . They have lost 4-1 and 3-0

gylfi sigurdsson cost Everton 45 million and he’s been found not guilty not Everton fault the police got it wrong is it for FFP
He still would’ve amortised if he was suspended or not
@Phil Thornton He was linked with a move away from Everton for about 15 million just before he got arrested. He was then forced to sit at home under caution whilst his contract ran down. The got dropped and Everton ended up losing out on the £15m and had to pay him £6m in wages due the case being dismissed despite not being able to pay him.
Wow didn't know he was found innocent. The slag tried to get money of him blackmail him
Simon rightly hammered us a number of times. He also gave us a fair crack when occasion called for it. Jim loved us until we turned on his mate Moshiri and now he’s got the knives out every time we are mentioned.
I’m genuinely surprised talk sport are not sitll saying forest will go down despite it not being mathematically possible 😂😂😂
Handbag carrier😅😅😅
Simon Jordan is talking about the origin of Everton's funding. That is not an issue and is not under analysis. Also the handbag carrier comment is offensive and homophobic.
Handbag comment good
Totally agree , he can say what he wants but it needs to be called out as offensive . The guy cons ppl into thinking he knows it all but clearly doesn’t.
Leeds Have to win, hope Leicester draw or lose, and hope Everton lose
Leicester have to win, and hope Everton draw or lose
Everton just have to win (but would also be safe by matching the better of the Leicester and Leeds results)
Even if Everton are a goal up with 20 minutes to go, It'll be nerve jangling. That is dangerous territory because you just know Leicester are beating West Ham
Why there is no reason for them to beat West Ham a team that on fire
Leicester can’t win a game at the minute 😅
Best of luck to everton from villa fan

Ork out for ye tomorrow
Leicester didn't back Brendan Rodgers after selling his best players and not replacing them.
Shut up.
This is true, but what is also true is that Brendan didn't resign over it, he stayed in place.
It’s not true he had money spent last season on crap and in January
Rodgers is operating on a pound-in-pound-out basis. That is the lot for many clubs. He is clearly not very good at it.
Jesus christ how many times does JW need to hear the same thing?
They have to fill time Barry, that's all.
Leicester have soutar and faes as ther cb pairing... i think that says it all
The thing is when it comes to last day relegation fight, you need your regular strikers to do their jobs. Maupay only has a goal this season.
Time for Maupay to step up and become a cult hero in what may be his last game for Everton.
What are the optics of that Jim?
Spot on from SJ as usual
The point at Newcastle was agreat result ,if they had won they still would of needed to win the last game ,and everton to lose ,now if Leicester win ,everton have to win
So not losing was a great point
if they won they would not need to win the last game. they could have drawn and everton lost
@@stephenconnolly2582 yep
@@stephenconnolly2582 True, they would not have needed to win, but to be sure they would have. A draw and they would have been relying on Everton not to win.
Simon can tip over into sounding very pleased with himself but to be fair he's rarely wrong in his pronouncements
SJ. What a legend
Simon is a 🐐
Simon absolutely spot on again
115 charges!. I'll say that again 115 😂. Not 1, not 2, not 10 not even 20. 115😂.. let that sink in
It doesn't matter , it could even be a million charges ,they are innocent until the pl prove it otherwise
Again Jim White coming for Everton, saying they are guilty when no charges have been formerly brought against the club, is his comments potentially libellous?
Leave it with us Simon we'll edit this
Jim White what a baby
Simon is bang on!.
Simon spot on about Deane smith took Norwich down what the hell 😂😂😂
Why no mention of Nottingham Forest…?
Oh yeah that’s right, because we are staying up! F all you that doubted us, we are due a fair few apologies.
YOU REDS!!!!!
Yes, Everton are in better position than Leeds & Leicester but a win is not a given. I don't think Bournemouth will make it easy - they are still professionals.
Agree...as an Everton fan im more nervous this year than i was last year - or in the 90's come to that
The thing is all 3 of Everton, Leicester & Leeds are playing at home so all 3 of them could easily have rampant energetic crowds giving all 3 teams the energy and fire they need, that makes it even more difficult to call in my opinion
Except for Leeds, who are away…. Nope they’re at home!
@@sufirodger Huh? Their final game is vs Tottenham at home lol
I was just coming to delete the comment 😂. I’ve stared too much at the last fixtures I mixed Forrest & Leeds up
Home table:
Leeds 16th
Everton 18th
Leicester 19th
Everton are a better away side now than a home side btw.
@@ill_be_frank Everton are NOT safe, unless they win against Bournemouth. If that happens then Leeds and Leicester are down with Southampton.
I don't know why Bournemouth are the most "at the beach" opponent
Sean Dyche is such a badass that he can look like he's wearing a bald cap on top of a head of hair and nobody's going to tell him.
I think Leeds will survive. I said this before the season started. I hope I'm right.
Leeds will be back in league 1 within 5 years
@@derekprescott9809 That's clearly wishful thinking but it won't happen. There's no reason for it to, they're not skint like they were when they ended up there last time.

You can't compare other working institutions to football it is 2 different worlds and has different rules whether right or wrong football is unlike anything else very unique
Its not about winning its the taking part that counts.
Not when youre getting paid £200,000 a week to play football. Its about winning
@@remishehab3978 everyones a winner.
Going down is a disaster for who ever goes down so it's all about winning
Who does he mean by handbag carrier? Ha
Calvert-Lewin
Ive got a feeling Leicester will win, if they do then Everton must win to stay up….they probably will but pressure is a funny thing….Bournemouth are capable
My predictions:
Everton 2-2 Bournemouth
Leicester 1-2 west ham
Leeds 1-3 Spurs
Everton survive.
Oh man, how can you possibly think that Spurs will score 3 goals? They haven't done that since before Conte left, they might score one, or at least Harry Kane might, but I can't see them scoring more than one. You could be right about the other scores though, and I'm not a fan of any of the bottom three, in fact my team, Sunderland, are not back in the PL just yet.
@@wolfen210959 leeds always make it easy for spurs. They can't defend, and spurs are also desperate to go out and win. Leeds will get picked off.
I got
1-1
0-0
1-1
Hey Jim , what have you got against Everton ?
As what they did to Rangers so should be done to Man City. Let’s see how many players would stick around and how well they would do in the Championship where every team would be chomping to get at them
"How many people get sacked from failing then bounce back at the biggest job" Literally Parliament. CEO of Silicon Valley Bank was fired from a previous bank. If youre at the top, you most likely WILL bounce back to the top after being sacked. Like you Simon.
A debate is fine but no team with less than 33 points and already in the drop zone come final weekend has survived when all competing relegation teams play at home. And even then it's only been done once regardless this century. Also, Simon Jordan there has never been more than 'one win' among teams in the bottom five on the last day of the season this century. It's statistically most likely that all three teams draw or Everton wins and the other two draw. Also, Bournemouth allow 2 goals for every goal they score but West Ham are allowing a stingy 1.3 for every goal scored.
Dont think iv seen Everton tagged as favourites all season! Not sure they can handle that kind of pressure 🤔
How are we favourite with no striker lol
Leeds, Leicester and Everton
Not a fan of SJ but he was bang on every point!
Brendan Rodgers and Steve Cooper were concerned about making condescending comments towards Todd Boehly and his ideas for the EPL rather than focusing on their jobs coaching their sides. Clowns.
Cooper kept forest up.
Boehly Ball nearly got Chelsea relegated
You get duped by the media sensationalism too much, they made a simple comment and moved on. You clearly haven't.
Funny, Everton's performances have substantially dropped since the investments, so why are the teams doing worse using FFP as an excuse to distract from their own crappy performances?
It's about paying the right kind of money for the right kind of players, and Everton haven't done that, just like Chelsea haven't.
I think Brendan Rodgers is a short shelf life manager. Good for a few years then it all goes pear shaped
There has to be a core reason for this. It just doesn't make sense
Simon Jordan is another league to most pundits. Rembrandt in a world of children's finger painters.
So rogers should have resigned and thrown money away ? Don't be silly simon
Simon on form.
So want Leicester to draw/lose against West Ham, Everton to lose against Bournemouth, and Leeds to win against Tottenham - buts it's not going to happen :(
Leeds are down can't see Everton losing at home
If Leeds win Sam will have taken 5 points from City, Newcastle, westham & Tottenham . If they still go down surely not his fault that’s more than was expected
If he saved them he’d get a lot of credit, if they go down it’s not his fault. He’s done a right number on them.
But he wanted 6 or 7 points
How did Simon get this job after bankrupting Palace? People still listen to him…. Ffs
Love SJ from a Leeds fan
Moysie will save Everton again he is a true Blue Legend 💪 three draws going to get the odds 👊
Get Simon on the Everton board.
Has seen CEO’s as when they get sacked, they seem to find themselves ok
Why’s Jim have hatrid for Everton
Nothin but respect for Simon
If man city or everton found guilty of financial fairplay contraventions does anybody they will receive serious point ŕedu tions ??? If in lower divs they would be looking at least 12 to 20 pts deductions. One rule for Prem!!! I believe Luton once recieved 30 pts deduction & more recently look at Derby!
Simon j is quality
We are Everton we are great we survive 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Brenford do it, sell assets, re invest. Brighton do too.
Yes, they do, they also have a top notch backroom and scouting team, who find suitable replacements before they sell anyone.
butterfly brains
Wouldn't be surprised if they all lost
for once I agree with Simon.......
Think about the term “squeaky bum”.
So not going to mention that king power lost alotttt of money ? That’s a main reason
No Simon cos utd city both in champs league and one will win FAcup thats why it goes down to 7th
As a Leicester fan I couldn’t agree more with Simon.
Rogers needs to take a amount of the responsibility for this mess…the players too of course. I’m ready to purchase a Cherries shirt if they can do is a favour!
@Chunky not exactly my friend….being born in Leicester and having my grandparents live across the road from former City captain John O’Neal, I can assure you the title winning season was not my first LCFC shirt.
Why is LauraWoods tagged here lol
Nothing money can't put right, you know that.
Money isn't everything, Sunderland had a rich billionaire owner, who appointed the wrong people to run the club, which is why we perpetually overpaid for below average players, and flirted with relegation for 5 seasons before finally falling through the trapdoor, then we fell straight through the Championship trapdoor too, and spent 4 seasons in league one. This was despite regularly spending more than half of the rest of the premier league clubs. Now we have another billionaire owner, but at least this one appears to be doing it "right".
@@wolfen210959 what i meant was that when one is in the sh.. like city with the ffp money will passify the situation,as for spurs ,we pay to much for not good enough players, waste millions on managers, money badly spent, could have poch back for nowt but we are going to pay loads for an unknown, etc.
Man city will get away with it. No point in a fine or points deduction. They really should be relegated to League 1 in my opinion
"Ly-sester City" FPML 😂😂😂
No ya clown. Leeds got sanctioned in Championship and had to drop to Division one . That didn't wait until the nxt season it got done straight away.
It's why Brighton have been so remarkable this season - selling a lotta their best first-team players, each for tens of millions of pounds profit, yet still managing to find amazing value replacements that are as good or even better than those that they sold! Unbelievable really. Looks like they're gonna lose Caicedo & MacAllister in the Summer as well for £70m each, so it'll be interesting to see who their scouts manage to bring in to replace them....Jesus Christ, probably. And a young 7ft tall Ronaldo clone, for £3m each, haha
Everton flirting with relegation will catch up with them. Im a Villa fan and we did the same for 3 years before it finally caught us. Its coming whether they survive this season or not
It’s definitely coming while we’ve still got these idiots in charge
Well MSP have just announced investment in the club so these two instances of the two clubs are not really comparable. Not if Everton can rebuild properly before it gets to another season like this. Though tbh, it wouldn't take much. We're only in this position because we have no real (fit) strikers and no skilful players to create chances
Sadly could even be this season for us , as said above, is because of the clueless idiots running our club, Villa was more a case of no money but wish you guys well now Gerrard has gone lol
@@markhanson887 yeah fair. We needed the relegation as silly as that sounds.. and that insane Chinese owner to sell up and luckily he did😂😂 if Everton drop you'll come back stronger though. Us and you (if) the biggest clubs to drop by a mile
bourmouth players wont get off goodison so they need to play there part let everton win n thats that
If it is Everton 0-2 Bournemouth, SJ should come in flip flops!
well done simon blew him away many times i dont think jim white is well educated, wonder what team he supports lol
You got to luv Simon
he knows his stuff...
respect from Thailand
Leeds and Leicester are the most likely but I'd love Everton to go down.
Simon - some of us Yanks know how to properly pronounce Leicester... ;-)
Everton will get no punishment. All the spending and they've only gotten WORSE! If anything the rest of the league should let them keep operating this way. Manchester City is another story.
Manchester city should be relegated and made to start again from scratch , that is another story 😂
they are 15th highest in net spend for the last 5 seasons. Leeds and Southampton lost 50 million more on transfers.
1 charge to 115 for city if they do get punishment city's have to be extremely harder punishment
I'm an Everton fan ,we are where we are because of overpriced overpaid players we've spunked millions but yet Leicester are there for the opposite they have signed players for pennies and made 500% profit on some of them but they haven't reinvested a penny ,all these players at my team and others should be ashamed they are made millionaires to get the team relegated and then say I'm off I'm too good to play in the league that my performances have put the club in I'd give 80% of our first team free transfers or loan to buy deals,I honestly believe that Everton's reserves would beat the first team nine times out of ten
Truth and well said from an Everton fan maybe you wouldn’t have been in this position iff you had kept RAF !!!!!
