Anyhow as for Sunderland below Sunderland should have thought higher in their process and for me its board there need sacked . Just how many Managers have they went through in th past 10 yrs ? Not all Managers are to blame but the board are i reckon . Sunderland should be aiming higher . As for Tony Mowbray he has i feel had raw deal and Beale is a step down not up i feel although time shall tell and normally when a new Manger comes in the door u tend to see team getting some fair results as players want be seen doing well keep their places in team ..But after 3 months or so shall tell .
Think you need to give him a chance as i believe a lot of the players he brought in at Rangers let him down considering how some of them are performing now!! Time will tell
Not a good appointment, that's for sure... but I think now the next transfer window is really crucial. SAFC needs at least two proven strikers, and obviously can't lose Jack & their other stars. Not very optimistic, but never say never 🤞🏻
Tbf a lot of the players that worked under him at Rangers, Villa etc said he was an amazing coach. However, this doesn't necessarily translate in to being a good manager- where you have to man manage, motivate your players, keep everyone happy, change tactics in game etc. To me it seems like Beale is a very good number two, but perhaps not management material. I'm a Rangers fan so I seen a lot of him when he was at us. He worked very well alongside Gerrard cos Gerrard demands respect and is a far better man manager/motivator. I don't think these things are qualities that he really has.
This is my worry and I am a Sunderland fan.... NOT MANY HAVE THESE SKILLS Tony Mowbray is a great man manager and has the whole management team spirit preperation environment creator and things necassary to keep a good dressing room
@@georgianwindow Tony Mowbray wasn't very good when he was up here in Scotland tbh, though this was a while ago. Well Simon is right .about loyalty. Michael Beale should have focussed on the gift he was given at QPR and built something .. Graham Potter was going so well at but Brighton did better without him Luton's had a little welshman ?? who did not appreciate the special job he had .. BUT I am a Sunderland fan nobody here is saying great appointment we are all kind of worried... But we have no say .. MB will not be the one choosing his own players he is head coach.. BUT there are good players here at Sunderland.. You can't bluff man management skills so he inherited something Tony had and that was great team spirit , but the players recruited all have great values and a work ethic. So let's see if Michael B can build a great dressing room.. I'ts difficult we bought 3 strikers in summer who are not getting any game time.. at this stage lost 1 won 1
Talks a lot but couldn’t handle the pressure or deliver at Rangers in the big moments. He played football manager with all the backing he got to rebuild in the summer and then complains there was too much change 😂 good luck Sunderland
Definitely think this is a bad appointment. Tony Mowbray was doing OK. Fair enough if club wanted a change but Paul Heckingbottom would have been a safer bet. Just compare both CVs.
Correction......Beale is NOT the manager....he is head coach....and as such, will have NO say in transfer dealings. I am not sure why Tony Mowbray was let go as he was also head coach! Neither one of them was my first choice but like most fans, you give the bloke a chance....and hope he is NOT a chancer!

I wish people would calm down....... he took QPR to top of the championship where they have been nowhere near since.......... he won 13 out of his first 14 games at Rangers........ a complete squad turnaround takes time to gel at any club........ yes it became stale at Rangers but Rangers are a hugely demanding club where a draw is a defeat.

Everyone is focused on Mowbray and Beale but what about the owner and Speakman they are the one's destroying our club from the inside. When are we going to get a couple of decent strikers.
The owners have done the complete opposite of destroying our club from the inside. Absolute nonsense.
Well we about to find out if Beale is better than Mowbray starting from today or if he's just a yes man like 90pc of Sunderland fans think.
@theferret390 A bad managerial appointment doesn't mean the owners are destroying the club from the inside though does it? Have a look at where we are now compared to where we were when they took over. Btw I also don't think Beale is the right man. But "destroying our club from the inside" was a bit of a stretch.
@hnz501 He's a conman as far as I'm concerned he's massively unambitious our club is a status symbol for him nothing more there is no chance of prem football with him at the helm he will be happy with mid table championship football indefinitely question is are you.?
From Scotland here and the Facts are Celtic fans were singing the wanting Beale to stay at Rangers tells u all there u want to know re Beale ..Celtic as we all know are though the biggest club in Scotland and being Champions in the last 12 yrs
from 13 yrs tells all who are the top side there . Anyhow as for Sunderland below
Sunderland should have thought higher in their process and for me its board there need sacked .
Just how many Managers have they went through in th past 10 yrs ? Not all Managers are to blame
but the board are i reckon . Sunderland should be aiming higher .
As for Tony Mowbray he has i feel had raw deal and Beale is a step down not up i feel although time shall tell and normally
when a new Manger comes in the door u tend to see team getting some fair results as players want be seen doing well keep their places in team ..But after 3 months or so shall tell .
Not very optimistic, but never say never 🤞🏻
I'd settle for one given the fact we haven't signed a proven striker for about 5 transfer windows.
@@Richard-se4uh I was just dreaming 😅
Sunderland Beale is the man to get you relegated😂
It seems like Beale has started pretty well with Sunderland, so perhaps he is starting to gain some confidence as a number one instead of an assistant. Cos he clearly has the tactical nous etc to succeed in management.
Id rather have Ian Beale....
Takes one to know one Simon.😂
Can we get the video of the fans calling in feels unfinished
Talks a lot but couldn’t handle the pressure or deliver at Rangers in the big moments. He played football manager with all the backing he got to rebuild in the summer and then complains there was too much change 😂 good luck Sunderland
Simon spot on!
Definitely think this is a bad appointment. Tony Mowbray was doing OK. Fair enough if club wanted a change but Paul Heckingbottom would have been a safer bet. Just compare both CVs.
Poor_-Sunderland; have they not been through: -enough??-L.O.L.
Yes. This.
hahaha I love Simon Jordan. As a QPR fan, thank you. Beale the snake. Feel like John Candy in Uncle Buck, and throwing Beale a 50 pence piece and telling him to go and pay a rat to gnaw that mole off his face. Can't stand him.
Sunderland 'a sleeping giant' 😂😂😂 ahhh love the comedy Alan!! 😂😂😂😂😂
so he didn't win the title for rangers, stevie g vindicated
Both him and gerrard together they might be able to scrape through but on their own I don’t think they can do it.
Feel sorry for the sunderland fans, comment for the first defeat.. we have to learn from this.. just listening to this guys interview gives me nightmares
Never heard of him.but from all the.comments .he is excactly the kind Sunderland Hire.
May as well have kept TM
Can’t judge him unless we get a striker in none of our strikers have scored this season
And you expect that to change 🤦🤦🤦🤣🤣🤣
@@arniec5707 clearly not 😄
I wish people would calm down....... he took QPR to top of the championship where they have been nowhere near since.......... he won 13 out of his first 14 games at Rangers........ a complete squad turnaround takes time to gel at any club........ yes it became stale at Rangers but Rangers are a hugely demanding club where a draw is a defeat.
Terrible appointment
This aged like fine wine
Got yes man written all over this appointment!.
