Yo dudes and dudette! I stand with George Carlin. He was literally my gateway drug into the progressive movement without me realizing it 15 years ago. He never openly says "Republicans", but he is obviously talking about them when he rants about big business and marketing. It's not his job to provide solutions. It's huge that he is able to plant that seed of doubt about the way the world works, while presenting it in a way that conservatives will find funny and inoffensive. If an audience member later reflects on it and has an epiphany, that is a win.
