    Very good. This should help me refurbish an old bicycle.

    That's a good idea to use a ratchet piece to get the dustcap in evenly I will try that thanks!

    Thank you! You saved me $60.00 on the front! I haven't tried the rear yet. Mine were old Suzue hubs apparently.

    Why the nut at minutes 5.50 if I make it no loose, my wheel unable to spin well..

      @lonerbikes  Год назад +1

      Check quantity of bearing balls, maybe nuts are destroyed ? Hub is worn ?

      That's the cone nut. Probably you tightened it too much. Back it off just a quarter rotation and see if the axle will spin freely. The cone nut, which has only two wrench flats and a cone shape on one side, shouldn't be tightened firmly against the balls.

    My bearings are all loose?? Does this mean the bearing race has broken in my hub? Or do some older bikes have no bearing race?
    Many thanks

      I think, all bikes have bearings race. If your hub is worn, can be problem with adjustment of tighten (loose remove) because the race and axle nuts are not straight.
