"If you want to do chins, do chins... if you don't, then don't"
Its safer to do chinups with a complete long head bicep tear than a partial. If its complete you got nothing to lose
I like to just tear all my muscles completely before training so that nothing bad can happen .
You need to be proximally avulsing one or more biceps on a regular basis if you want to make it in this town.

Because of the stretch and angle of the proximal biceps tendon under load. Dips is like the go to exercise to get proximal biceps tendonitis.

@@user-dv7fb3kn9z Even if your humeral head sits tight in the socket throughout the movement its still strenuous on the tendon. Some people go extremely deep as well...
