Sterling, Your videos keep getting better and better including your drone work. I'm so jealous .. your exposure, lighting, & even saturation is the best. Thanks again for another armchair journey! love them all
Awesome adventure channel. We've been to the top of Harquahala on our Honda CRF250L motorcycles & the climb was epic. As you indicated, the views on top are epic. Next time, we'll take camping gear & stay overnight like you did. Thanks for sharing!
Man o man! Talk about couple goals.. loved this episode. Setting this as a goal for us. You both take us on a journey, forgetting about the “grind”....
I think this video might be your absolute best in cinematography! What a place to view the world! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to experiencing this location at some point myself.
Of all the times in a day I appreciate sunrise the best, it’s a special moment for me. Eva and Sterling - you two are great. Look forward to all of your adventures. Sunrise people are the best!
From that first gorgeous shot through to the end...just beautiful cinematically, musically, colours and you and your missus story telling the journey. Just beautiful! 🙂
Thank you both for sharing your adventure with us.. your epic video skills are amazing you truly have a gift.. and inspire many.. I watch your channel and love how you edit your videos together .. and I just love your content.. The adventure motorcycle trips are my favorite..but I also love the van trips also.. And I love how you and your wife appreciate the beautiful world around us .. !!!
Thanks for your openness to new non-moto content but rest assured that I will always have some new moto videos coming out too :-) Thanks for being part of my channel!
Would like to see more of your van setup... A dedicated video would be cool. Keep up the amazing work! Love your stuff. If I'm ever down in your neck of the woods will definitely stay at Jonquil. Looks comfy and accommodating for my motorcycle.
Thanks again for taking us along. Such amazing photography and the colors, wow! I live in the PNW in Wa and am loving seeing the sun and open spaces. Thank you guys again!
I lived in the PNW for over 20 years and have to say that the transition to the desert environment has been very beneficial for both my soul and my photography in general.
I'm not gonna lie seeing even you have out of focus moments makes me feel much better about some of my out of focus moments in the last few videos XD Thank you for keeping that in! :) As always, love your videos!
You're so sweet, thank you for noticing that. I was definitely aware of that in the edit but thought I would let it stay in there - and it does show that not everyone is perfect nor do they need to be. Somethings are perfectly fine when they are rough around the edges.
Such a beautiful setting, and an amazing road. Thanks for bringing Eva along, as she adds some fun to your art (and she is easier on my eyes than you, Sterling 😏)!
Indeed! Eva is a great gal to travel with. We definitely have a lot of fun together and it's nice that she likes being on camera too. I actually think she she is more of a natural at it than me.
Greetings from Oregon you two great job a babe and her truck a man and a van freaking awesome I'm wanting to ride from Oregon to Arizona and ride that mountain.
Your top-notch videography takes us surprisingly close to being there. Excellent work. Saw you had many lights at night, which must be a great improvement over the trips of my youth where the camp fire provided most of the illumination. Would you choose less light if you weren't filming, perhaps to improve your night vision to see the stars?
Yes, I'm particularly interested in the good lighting setups for nighttime videography. The right lights provide a nice ambiance for the campsite and ability to film at night. But I also would not want harsh LED lights so I try to use warm ambiance lighting at night. And campfires :-)
Awesome. Enjoy the van and motorcycle videos. Love the scenery. Stuck in northern USA, the Arizona trips help get me through winter. :-) Hi Eva, you are wonderful in the videos. When is the Eva channel coming online? :-)
Takeaways: Eva like bourbon.. alot. your van build is a bit better than mine. Indiana needs more areas like this. What is that extendable jacobs hook you used for the lantern? looks cool.
Great video as always! Boy that road was pretty steep in a few places. Go off there and it won’t be pretty. What was the temperature there? Y’all had hats and warm jackets on. How cold was it at night?
Thx for another great video Sterling! I want a 4x4 van now in addition to my GS:) Have you ridden your mc up there before? Why did you take 2 vehicles?
I haven't ridden up there on my bike yet but plan on doing that! We took two vehicle because Eva had a new suspension put on her truck and wanted to test it out, but we wanted to camp in the van too :-)
I'm guessing the technicians for the phone company don't bother driving up the bumpy road if they can avoid it and helicopter up... else why the wind sock ?
Eva took her truck because she needed to test out a new suspension and I wanted to go on a van camping trip - so we decided to do it that way for that reason.
If I’m certain? Since I last saw one of your off-road video going up to Crown King. This time, you wife decided to take her own truck off-roading separate from you so she don’t have to hear you complain the whole time.

Thank you so much. The key for me is having the time to slow down along the way, not be in a rush, etc. And shoot as much as possible in good light.
Such incredible quality production and truly inspirational adventures. Simply excellent.

Crushing it as always, you badass.
Wow what scenery. Love this new series. Don’t forget to moto camp once in while though!
I doubt that will happen ha ha! In fact, Eva and I just filmed a three-day moto weekend video.

Stunning photography, Sterling. Toyota Tacoma, good choice, Eva!
nice !! great , I love your videos... when you offer us a tour of the Chelly Canyon , I think is only 450 miles far way from Bisbee...
Wyatt Earp spent time doing a little mining at the Harquahala mine.

Great eye candy and now I'm hungry 😋
If you keep visiting places like that... you'll have a little Sterling Jr before you know it :)
Kitt Peak has a fine viewsas well, and is higher. Nice vid.!
I plan on riding up there too Is have heard it is a nice road with a good view, but from what I can tell no camping up there.

what kind of fire pit are you using? Thanks
Nothing special, just a metal pan from a hardware store.
I'm guessing the technicians for the phone company don't bother driving up the bumpy road if they can avoid it and helicopter up... else why the wind sock ?
Good question - that might be the case. It certainly is a rough road to get up there!

Motorcycle ride possible? Not a dual sport... a different vid... thanks

Is it really necessary to use two cars, when two people are going on a trip - you haven't heard about global warming?
Eva took her truck because she needed to test out a new suspension and I wanted to go on a van camping trip - so we decided to do it that way for that reason.
