Bill, I've been up in the PNW on OHV areas, BLM and sno-lots this summer with an old GS, 525 and 300. Rode the bdrs and all of the local riding areas. It's been handy to pick the right tool for riding that day and easier to work around weather. Starlink makes trading possible between 4-8am, the rest of the day riding, and you get to park in the middle and ride the BDR both ways🤣
@@jrodriguez8216 Pretty sure Eva gets all the credit for the term "Smoothing It". This according to Sterling himself about 3 years ago when he posted Riding Solo - Episode 12. 😉
Leaving your two big bikes at home and having a fantastic journey on a little bike is really impressive. It shows we should always reevaluate what we do and have a flexible mindset.
You really do have the eye of artist, Sterling. Your work is often beautiful, but this video was just magical. Of course, Apache National Forest scenery doesn’t hurt! 😃😃😃💯
Out of all the videos on RUclips some of yours are truly my favorite. The quality always has something new to offer while maintaining a balance that becomes familiar.
Absolutely loving the music choice at ~10 minutes in! What a great adventure. The New Mexico side of these mountains (the Mogollon) was and forever will be my favorite place to escape from the world
Used to spend my summers n the New Mexico side of that area. Absolutely gorgeous, from Blue up to Alpine, and all the way out to Springerville. Those Forest Service roads around Escadilla from Luna, NM over to Springerville/Eager, AZ are some of my fondest memories. Used to hit those with my Grandpa in his old Datusn pickup. :) Great times.
I love how you have proven you don’t need a big expensive adventure bike to get out and have a big adventure !! What a great time you’ve been having on this great little bike !!

Ok this was one of your very best. Love AZ with all my heart ❤️ Every shot is amazing Sterling. I was in tears missing it so much. Best channel around ❤
Great video Sterling, the blue is a very special area in Arizona. Many of the old timers in the state that I had been there when you had mention the blue to them, they were just kind of look often into the sky and go oh yeah, the blueI’m very special place. Beautiful trip on the Honda 125. Thanks for sharing.
I love seeing the little Honda Trail 125 out exploring the back roads of beautiful Arizona. It seems that every time you post a video of one of your adventures, I add another area to my list of places to ride and moto camp and the Blue Mountain is no exception. Google Maps shows two Blue Mountains in Arizona. One is north of Phoenix but you seem to be on the eastern edge of the state where I could presumably camp in the Apache or Sitgreaves national forests. Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to make such gorgeous documentaries of your adventures. You are much appreciated.
I've ridden down to Blue three times. I camped at Upper Blue campground last time and had a great night moto camping. The Bear Wallow cafe in Alpine has great breakfasts and an awesome enchilada style burrito. Watch the crossing where the road crosses Blue River, sometimes it's pretty slick. On another trip we watched a Space X launch while we had a great burger at Hannigan Meadow Lodge. If you get a chance to ride Highway 191 to Clifton it's one of the coolest paved roads I've ever ridden (probably better if ridden from Clifton to Alpine with a loop through Blue). This part of Arizona is great to explore. Enjoyed the video, as always very well done.
As always a great video! When you first showed your camp set up I saw two chairs outside the van. I thought Eva was joining you. Hopefully, I can be at your ride in April then ride up in the area you are in now. Safe travels sir!
Your tiny motorcycle series is fantastic ....as you videography and photos, at least this time not many flat tires.....great job with the butler map , to bad they don't have this as much in Canada , I also a bit sad Yellow my Ryker is now away for winter and started to do some travel , our Tanzania safari was fantastic. A million thanks Sterling, for showing this place. It's now on my agenda to go there soon. Carol and I were up on Mt Graham recently for a similar experience. Once at Riggs lake, in a pouring rain, I was transported back to the Pacific NW. Onward, amigo!!
You will love it. It’s nice to have a place to cool off in the summertime. I’d actually like to go back up there in the middle of winter and camp in my van and a snowstorm!
So far I've only watched a couple of your videos, but I've subscribed because of the really good quality video & audio presentations that you put together. I'm impressed with your video work, the good quality audio without the music suddenly going up several decibels in volume (& good music at that). Your video work includes great editing of the various cameras & drone shots. Kudos! Well done!
