The V60 when new in 2020 cost $799, which was a whopping $200 less than the cheapest Samsung Galaxy S20, and you don't get a headphone jack with Quad DAC audio or active stylus support or even dual display functionality with the S20. Nowadays, you can get the V60 bundled with its Dual Screen case for around $400.

lg is still alive and thriving, its just that their mobile division that shut down for the time being as LG, like most Korean conglomerates, is made up of different companies under a single corporation. lg is still one of the largest and most profitable companies in the world. its a consumer electronics juggernaut when it comes to home appliances and tv's. LG chem is the largest chemical company in Asia and produces some of the best batteries for both mobile and non mobile apparatuses in the world, hence why the batteries on LG devices are so good. There is also rumor in Korea that LG Mobile is just getting reorganized and absprbed by LG Electronics and is poised for a comeback soon.

Weeks ago I bought a Pixel 6 with Android 13 to replace my "old" LG V60. I ended up selling the Pixel 6 and keeping my V60 🤣 I love this damn phone! Oh, and by the way, keep the good work, you have a great channel here!

You shine my bro !! Love the way you speak, and like you, i love LG devices since G2, and never stop to use them. Typing from my all original V60 dual screen, i dont sell or trade for any other device. Its a gem. Edit: the lg quad dac is better and powerfull than most of average dedicated DAC's. 4 mics for audio recording. Runs anything from play store smooth. Is beautifull. I did myself a comparision with a friends s22 normal, and the V60 LITERALLY BLOWS THE S22 OUT in camera quality. It has military drop resistance (yes mine got some marks on edges, if was any other phone, would be cracked). As i always say, no company will never make a legend like the v60 is.

I don’t post comments very often. I must say that this has been the best, smart phone experience. I’ve had to date. Battery life is terrific. Sound quality through the quad digital to analog converter is outstanding for a phone, and it’s been almost totally bug free. I appreciate still having the option of removable expandable storage. The screen, while not high refresh rate is still just fine. Most users won’t find any significant deficiencies in the display.

I wish LG continued to make phones. Issue IMO was they priced their phones like Samsung's. The main killer is they didn't do a good job on designing an ecosystem like Apple and Samsung. Marketing was terrible. Software was ok. If they kept the pricing 150-250 dollars less than the Samsung phone I believe they would still be here today. Hardware wise they were on par and even better. One of the few companies besides Sony to keep all the hardware like SD card and headphone jack while using the latest processors.

I live in Thailand and I bought LG V60 (AT&T) from USA so currently it's still Android 10.0 but I'm so happy with my phone as well. LG V60 has incredible spec. I love the 3.5 jack and it has an expansion memory by microSDXC up to 2000 GB. I wish the LG phones will be back to business so soon. I'm checking out your other videos. It's awesome 👍👍👍

No, that is nonsense. The LG G6 was the most beautiful phone perhaps, but the SD 821 gotten too slow. SD 865 will not suffer that problem, it most probably will stay fast for ages to come..

The LG v60 is my favorite android phone still to date it's going to very hard to move on from it

My worst fear about the next update is that, when those updates stop coming, which phone could continue the legacy of what the V60 has achieved all of these years without even having the spotlight. I keep telling myself that 2024 is the last year I could use this device as my main phone, but haven't thought about a suitable replacement. It's hard, and that's basically a statement on how good this phone is.
For sure I believe once android 13 hit this device and security patches in 2023 you will be golden unit 2024 which is good lol 4 years of using this device without spending a penny on these newer over 1000 dollar phones. I call that savings. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it

I missed mine. Bought another one in mint condition for $125 on ebay because the charger port doesn't work, but I use wireless charging anyway! Battery life awesome, no better sound system out there, still my quad dak! Camera awesome! Battery life awesome. I really like my Google Pixel 6 Pro, but LGV60 is still just as good overall! Now, going to look on ebay for the dual screen case! Great review, sir!

Thank you for the info to get back on ATT to get the updates as I am moving this phone to another provider. This phone has been in storage and is like new with the dual screen..... I'm not stuck on android 10 anymore. I did have to hang out on ATT overnight to start the updates plugged in and on WiFi...

LG V60 is currently the best phone you can get. It has microSD that I use with 1TB card, and high quality headphones jack. I will not forgive Samsung for removing two of my favorite features. The hate comments are just the bots trying to rile people up, ingore.

213 grams to 218 when you Google LG V60 weight. Verizon has a different way to enhance the 5g signal as well and ufs 3.0 speeds listed read and write are higher than ufs 2.1, I just wonder why. I will email LG and Hopefully find out.

I have been looking far and wide for the v60. Keep in mind about a month ago my Samsung s9 died. Severe corrosion in the motherboard. Kinda funny how they claim water resistance. I used to ride my bike with a heart rate monitor and phone in pocket. I also used to have a Motorola edge that got slaughtered. Might be repairable.
So I was without a phone for a month and got desperate. I am in Toronto and currently with Rogers but going to switch to telus . I found an ad for v60 128gb. 450 dollars with one year warranty. They are decent devices unfortunately I ended up getting a t-mobile varent . I just hope I don't loose L1 support. Like you did . Telus has a stream service with Netflix. I do have another chrmebook that I can use . also do you can put SD card memory. I had one in S9 that I was hoping to recover some of the content .
Overall it is a solid device and and the fold is pretty expensive. Also is it possible for the second screen to keep playing when it l close the device .

Question: My V60... Tech Preacher, I've been experiencing difficulties with (1)taking pictures and then (2)moving them to purposely created folders for the pictures I take i.e. family, friends, dog, fishing, whatever, etc.. some to absolutely disappear! Some of them that I put in folders I can't remove them they will not delete. So my question is what could this be (suggestions)... is it possible its the MicroSD card failure.? What is the largest SD card you use in the LGV60 and what brand / model do you recommend.? Thank you and your followers.

I just got LG v60 yesterday, it is still android 11, I was gonna upgrade to android 12 but came across your videos. If I get the upgrade now will I get better performance, less heat and widevine L1 support?
I didn't have these issues on Android 11.
@@TheTechPreacher I only get heat when I play Genshin Impact for more than 30-45 mins on highest settings which I understand is a very heavy title, I was just worried whether upgrading to android 12 will reduce the burden and enhance performance or make it a little worse.
Would you still advise someone to buy a new LG V60 today? I currently own a OnePlus 7 Pro that has come to the end of its update cycle. I'm currently playing with a Surface Duo 1 as a secondary device and I'm on the lookout for a primary device - most likely a foldable. I can see the attraction for the LG V60 for existing owners, but from the outside looking in, is this a device I should be buying to hold for the next three years or should I be looking at others?
The LG v60 android 13 is the last update so you will be good in 2023 and 2024 but after that it won't get no more support. It will still work great but if you are looking for Android 14,15,16 nah. You might won't to look at something newer like the Galaxy fold 4 or the surface duo 2
