Oh WOW! I'm scratching my head and trying to figure out where this instrument has been all my life 😂 I've gotta try and find something similar. Thank you for the inspiration.
Love this. Last winter I wanted a Baritone Banjo Uke so I pulled the neck off a cheap banjo and made a new one for it in the Baritone uke scale. It looks, plays and sounds good, overall a similar look to yours, but yours is way better. I like to tune mine reintrant with a dGBE. That way I can play clawhammer.
Perfect for Eddie Peabody music, that good old fashioned Dixieland Banjo sound. It's called a Plectrum Banjo cause you use a Pick. Those Banjoists removed the 5th string from their Banjos when they joined Jazz Bands because Hornists like to play in Flat keys
@@beansproutmusicalinstruments Yeah it's really a Tenor Banjo, the good old fashioned foundation of the Tenor Guitar which is a Tenor Banjo Neck slapped on a Guitar body.
sounds like exactly what I need. I'm a ukulele player but I just love that banjo sound. If I can ever afford one, it's on the list. One question though: is there an option for a closed back version?

Awesome sound. Looks like a lot of fun. Amazed how you can just pick up and play tunes on so many different instruments with varied tuning. 👍👍
Excellent job. A beautiful sound. Thanks.

This scale length is 6” shorter than a plectrum banjo.

The scale length is 20 inches basically an Extra Short Scale Tenor Banjo.

Does your Tenor and full sized 5 String have carbon fiber or truss rods in the necks?
Is it affordable?
This a Tenor Banjo.
Where can I buy one?
