This is one of those days where I had a plan to do a video on a different blaster, got distracted, and did something completely different: the Unity Power System. Ironically, before this video, I had never combined the entire set. It's absolutely awesome, giving you effortless ways to fire 3 different blasters from one system. It's well designed, it's fun, and the Hornet/Titan have some good mod potential.

The Hornet when connected to the Titan gets a boost in performance because it also connects the air tanks together since you can pump the Titan to pump the hornet.
*Basically the hornet needs more air*
from testing with my broken hornet, i can confirm that the power boost the hornet receives when combined is because it siphons from the titans air tank meaning pumping the titan not only fills the hornet but adds a massive amount of air capacity when using the blast function (my hornet cannot function what so ever when detached but can achieve some actually good ranges when attached)
Wow thats cool. Ive passed up the hornet thrifting, and definitely wouldnt have if id have known it can be so easily attached to an air tank
The Nerf scout Really doesn’t look like divas postal. In my opinion it looks more like the scouts pistol from team fortress two

Hey Walcom, what if you got a rapidstrike, minimized it into a pistol and put the micro-switch that fired it in the same position as the scout's catch button, then you could fire the rapid pistol from the titan, and if you wanted faster reloads mount a raider mag well facing down. If you painted the rapidstrike the same color as the titan then you could have an incognito dart hose. :D

I found a Titan at a toy collector show I was at. The following year I found the rest of the system at the same show. I've remarked how it looks like those big, spring loaded abominations that every G.I. Joe figure in the Battle Corps line came with back in the early nineties.
Which works because I'm in a G.I. Joe costume group.
When you fire the hornet with the trigger on the front of the titan, performance is increased because its being powered by the titans airtank.
They really need to make an elite version of this, air powered rocket launchers that are that big are a ton of fun.
Ghoul Blaster Mods Holy, is they brought back Titan rockets for commercial sale, Captain Xavier might actually have a heart attack.
Or maybe just spend thousands of dollars buying them all out.

the reason the scout is powerful even if it is reverse plunger is because there is little to no dead space with a reasonable spring reverse plunger mostly suck because there is a ton of dead space in every reverse plunger that are not single shoot frontloader

I got this for Christmas when I was like 7 and it’s still one of my favorite, unfortunately the orange tip of the rocket cane off.

I got it years back after it was discontinued, the hornet is completely broke, the scout works and the Titan, after a bit of use is leaking air. I’d imagine a 3D printed thick walled air tank could save it from the junkyard.
Dude!!!..I had no idea the hornet attached to the titan...I found the titan WITH THE ROCKET at a...(cringe)..goodwill outlet,2 weeks later I found the hornet,ty for blowing my mind and showing me I had a great blaster all together...you rock brudda

@WALCOMS7 The OPV for the hornet is located in the pump. Using the titan bypasses the OPV. Thus it can get far better ranges.
This brings back memories when I got this as a kid from a garage sale, I got a bag filled with darts and three missiles too, I felt like the coolest kid in the block.😂
Being a fan of spring and air systems, this pleases me much and may become it's own loadout
He sure puts the meaning into the term "heavy gunner" 😉 ...And when the darts run out, he starts throwing full size primaries at the opponents. Run. 😲

Hey Walcom, great video as always! 👍 There is literally no hope I could pick the U.P.S for cheap in Scotland online, it's just not going to happen 🙅♂️ I love the look of the Titan ASV-1, I don't think I will be able to mod it but I would hail it as the best Nerf brand rocket launcher. The Hornet AS-6 it doesn't really suit my play style as it is quite the finicky, 6 shot air blaster but I do own a yellow N-Strike Scout EX-3 which I did do a penny mod on, very comfy with slightly improved power :)
Also, did you know there is a small, round, pill sized button on the Scout tactical rail which is what fires it while it is attached to the Titan and also according to Nerf Wiki, the Scout was the first blaster with a tactical rail! 😃
I have a Titan but this is the first time I've seen the attachments, the hornet is freaking cool
The original 2003-2004 version of the N-Strike Unity Power System also comes with the N-Strike DVD, but the N-Strike DVD is a lot harder to find, just like the Nite Finder EX-3 sight, the red Longshot, the blue Secret Strike [with 2003-2004 logo], the blue Unity Power System, and the red Dart Tag "Firestrike" Nite Finder.
I had one of the original unity power systems when I was a kid. I even remember that DVD, I thought it was so cool lol
funny how everywhere on the internet, the scout is the pistol on the unity system whereas it was advertised to be the maverick when i got my first nerf blaster 10+ years ago

The Titan looks awesome, and it looks like something I could actually mod.
Although, I could probably do a lot more than I think, considering how well I did in Robotics in high school.
the blue version is so rare that through all my digging i’ve only ever found 1 blue blaster: a scout
When I got my 3n1 the hornet was defective so I could never experience the full power of the combo but the pistol and titan are the best ever
I used to run the hornet as an HVZ secondary. The emergency button saved me so many times
I managed to take the air restrictor outta my Titan, & fix the trigger on my Hornet after it broke, but the screws in my Scout were stripped, so I couldn't do anything with that.

I bought this from Toys R Us on a whim with the paycheck from my very first job. A friend and I were out and past the store and I said "Let's go in and see if they have anything good". 30 mins later I walked out with this awesome blaster.

Cole had a hornet then a couple weeks ago I found a Titan. now to find a scout to go with it.

In a yellow paint scheme. They made a scout 2-pack with this paint scheme (and i ordered it, soon i'll get it), so why wouldnt they remake the rest of the Unity Power System in yellow?

Hey Walcom, can you make a video saying how to fix a leaky titan? Just received mine from ebay and it I can pump it two or three times but then I hear a hissing noise and then the pressure gauge starts going down.
Great Tag Back! One thing that came to mind, but it could just be cranial flatulence, would the top piece of the ComBow work where the Scout is?

I really appreciate how you ( unlike coop772) know that old nerf guns weren’t made to compete with the nemesis.it makes it really enjoyable to watch since your not constantly saying “X is awful and X is just bad” keep it up!
There's a tacticool rail on the bottom of the prometheus. Surely that could replace the scout?
I've ALWAYS wanted one, I've thrifter a Hornet, and a Scout. But sadly, I don't think I'll ever be able to find a a working Titan

do the air horn mod/ modular adapter and start each round with a battle horn then switch to an absolver or demolisher rocket attachment. Or a demolisher rocket absolver. The titan has enough power to do that most likely. If not hey, new attachment for a drain blaster.

Throw out the Scout and slam a Rapidpistol or Paradigm Shift on there. Wire said Rapidpistol to the Scout button.

I found a yellow scout with the firing button on the rail. Is there a yellow unity system out there or is it part of the hulk system you mentioned?
William VergerWolf no the Yellow scout was just released in its own in the regular n strike yellow colour, the Hulk set (Hulk Abomination) never came with the scout, just the Titan and the Hornet

I remember this red version had a DVD included to play an on rail shooter of sorts. Wasn’t that good and obviously never encouraged using the Titan so you wouldn’t blow your tv out. Pretty basic game right below the Wii Nerf games.
Hornet is still the best shotgun Nerf ever made... Which is sad, because while it shoots at nearly 100 fps, it's a pain in the butt to actually fire.

You want to know what I think about the UPS (Mhm strange coincidence) ? I think I want one or two.
So since the nerf Scout IX-3 is a reverse plunger, there's no good way to upgrade it, I take it?
Got a couple I'd like to tinker with, but not really interested in brassing it.
You can upgrade it to get elite or slightly elite performance, but it's never going to be even remotely as good as a lightly modified Firestrike or Nitefinder.

Too bad, because it is still is one of the best ergonomics of Nerf blasters out there.
I'll see about the AR's and maybe replacing the spring with a Maverick spring.

I want it but I live in New Zealand and it is really hard to get blasters here
I have these Nerf guns at home and I never realized for one I was a kid I had all of them I never realized they all combined cuz they used to be my brothers now that I know this and watch this video.
