My god, Abe is SUCH A BADASS. It feels like there's more space between each note than is mathematically possible, it's effortlessly in the pocket yet loosey-goosey in the coolest way, then there's that 1 fill that's incredibly tasteful and minimal but accomplishes so much, and that ending groove that shifts into higher gear while still maintaining pocket, space, flow and vibe.
Just absolutely perfect.
Oh yeah, the rest of the band is also effing fantastic.

Effects on the voice are sometimes a bit "too much" for my taste, especially since her voice is so remarkable. The rhythmic section, aka all the rest of the band, is top notch. You should invite Nick, Abe and his father (!) in a PMR episode, talk about syncopation, how to turn pop into funk music...
