Unfortunately, the controller has changed the interface for those buttons quite considerably. I am waiting for my controller, it should be here in a couple of days. Once I have it I will make a set of back paddles for it.

Do you know if the controller is still compatible with the Flydigi charging dock with these installed?
Will your modification interfere with charging from the docking station?
i dont have flydigi, i'm using 8bitdo and Gamesir ( 2 big back buttons enough for me, and they verry comfortable to use )
BUT this is fking awsome ! coz i used gamesir T4 pro with 4 back buttons like flydigi befor, it's was bad ... but with your mod, they look fantastic bro !
Would the gamepad still be able to use the charger dock with the mod attached?
Great job... Love the controller but the only problem was the rear paddles and you found the best sollution. Order made already for backpaddle mod :). Imo it is worth the price and effort put into it.

Bro you are a genius! I have been trying to DIY a PS4 scuff controller but I want 4 buttons. The Extreme Rate clicky set never works for me, the L2 & R2 buttons do not fit and cause issue's. I have been looking into buying a Scuff controller, but I read the reviews. Lots of people say it's not worth the $300 you are going to spend, for the controller to break in 2 to 3 months.
I like this controller I just dont like the back button attachments as well. I want to mod the thumb sticks too. Can you do a video on that? Thanks for the video, I'll be liking & subscribing!

@BouncingBallGames No, I meant the actual thumb sticks. I like to have one tall & one domed for FPS shooters. I saw one YT do it, but he suggested to make sure the sticks are tall enough. Or else it will not fit correctly and the thumb sticks will not have clearance, to move. Hopefully I am explaining it correctly.

As soon as my Apex four arrives, I will be making a set of backpedals for that controller. If you check out the controller sub Reddit or look on Etsy in a week or so you’ll find them

Would your back paddle mod work on the older apex 2? Was interested since I don’t like the stock paddles/buttons that came with apex 2.
No sorry, they are a different design.
@@BouncingBallGames by the way I purchased a set from you and was able to put the paddles by drilling the holes like you did on the m3 m4 buttons on my apex 2. Works really well. Thanks

The blue logo is just a sticker. You can put a scalpel or sharp tweezers in the edge and pry it out. The grips are from talongames and are _excellent_.

20 dollars to mod a 50 dollar controller with 10 cents worth of plastic? cool mod, but Id rather just buy another controller with paddles for the price.
No worries man. I love this controller to be fair, and wouldn’t want to use any other, none others have all the features I want. The price reflects the spare controllers I had to buy, the work involved in designing the paddles and the time to print/maintain/purchase materials/package and post the item, not just the cost of the material to make the item… the same way that food at a restaurant doesn’t just cost what the raw ingredients do.

Think about money as that guy said. $20 paddles on a $80 controller would put you at the $100 mark and when you are already there most will just spare some more for like the elite series 2 which is on sale now and will be again for holidays.

I got it from AliExpress. It’s by a group called talon grips.
Origin buttons have much better place and ideal for me. This variant totally not good.
Fair enough buddy, they’re not well placed for me which is why I made these. If you don’t need them that’s great
$20 is ridiculous when you can buy the controller for 50 😂

@@nalsra0 fair enough if you think that. It took well over a week to develop, with over a hundred iterations, multiple spools purchased and controllers taken apart, some beyond fixing. The price I sell them comes in under market rate, and it takes time out of my real job to design, make and prepare these. If I charged any less it wouldn’t be worth my time. I wouldn’t call that scummy, but I guess you do 👍
