Just clearing some small things up, no spoilers I promise. Simon and Sara are siblings. Sara is one year older, but she had to re-do one year because of bullying in the village school. Because of this, Linda, their mother, sent them both to Hillerska., Sara to get a new start and Simon to look after Sara and get a better education. That is why they are both first year students. Fellow first years are prince Wilhelm and Felice as main characters. Also first years are Madison (room mate of Felice), Stella and Fredrika (friends of Felice), Henry and Walter (the kids sucking up to Wilhelm before dinner in ep 1. ) August is 3rd year, prefect (head boy) of the dormitory and captain of the rowing team. His friends and classmates are Nils (the one that made out with Madison) and Vincent. Micke, Simons and Saras father have an alcohol and drug problem. This is why the parents are divorced and why Sara refuses to talk to him. This is also why Simon knew that he could get both alcohol and pills from his father. Roch and Ayub are Simons best friends from the village that keep Simon grounded in reality.
