My o-Wow-Moment clearly was when Wille confirmed it was him in the video with „most beautiful boy“ playing. Besides: Ich finde, dass August die krasseste Entwicklung gemacht hat. Es ist auch so gut durchdacht dass er ausgerechnet Sarah fanciet, denn sie kommt aus einer niederen Schicht, die er bekanntlich verachtet. In Staffel 1 folge 3 erzählt er beim elterntag, sein Ziel sei es, das Anwesen seines Vaters (Årnas) wieder aufzubauen, das er aber durch seine Taten komplett verliert (wegen dem Video). Und das obwohl er „lieber sterben würde“ statt was davon herzugeben. Er denkt die ganze Zeit, dass der Thron das absolut größte ist, realisiert aber dann so langsam, was es bedeutet und was er dafür aufgeben muss. Hier ändert sich nicht er und seine Umstände, sondern die Perspektive. Ich liebe das. Die Entschuldigung gegenüber Wille bei der White Party ist mein absoluter Lieblingsmoment von ihm. Eine so aufrichtige Entschuldigung sieht man selten in einer Serie. Ich finde es sehr wichtig, dass Sarah und August nicht zusammen gekommen sind. Es hat damit angefangen dass er sie benutzt hat und die beiden zusammen waren absolut toxisch für ihr Umfeld. Trotzdem war Sarah dass beste was August passieren konnte. Denn durch sie hat er seine Verachtung gegenüber Nichtadligen abgelegt (zumindest einen Teil davon), was eine wichtige Basis dafür ist, dass er ein guter und fairer König wird one day. Dass er gut darin ist fair zu sein, hat man als präfekt gesehen (vor allem im Kontrast zu Vincent).

The fact that you both immediately start talking about yourselves and your relationship shows the levels Young Royals has reached. It's so nice to see. What I especially liked was how attached everyone was. Fans, creators, and actors constantly cried together. Especially at the public finale, it was overwhelming. That was very unifying.

This epsiode is the definition of Gay on Gay crime....Bring the tissues boys everything goes down hill after this...Great reaction

You know a series is done well when you are either crying or nauseous throughout every episode. I’ve watched it a number of times but it still gets me. So sad.

Things are getting more real. I think what Mary did may seem horrible, but thinking of the timeline, maybe it was not. Caroline likely resigned because she didn't want coworkers and family questioned... and left on her own accord to go elsewhere. Later, Mary presents the letter and makes up the story about Tim warning her about his suspicion regarding Caroline. It was to clear herself and Tim, as Caroline was already gone before any investigation. Also, Hawk's big family house is not the one he's living in in the 1980s. That was the senator Smith's home, and Hawk is there because he married the senator's daughter Lucy.

Just finished watching... Thanks again... Yes, I agree, you definitely will need to have the tissues ready for the future episodes. Even though I've watched this series many times I still cry every time I re-watch 💞

You're both starting to see how emotional this show is. It's so sad what happened during the Lavender Scare in the 50's. So many wonderful queer people lost their jobs, and many took their life due to this disgraceful policy. The scene of them having fun in Mary and Caroline's apartment is heartbreaking because it was literally the only place where they could truly be themselves. I'm so glad you're both liking this show. You get to see how "great" life was in America at that time. I know nothing about queer life in Germany post WWII. I guess it depended on if you were in West or East Germany. We all know how awful it was during the war, and I watched a documentary about queer life in Germany in the 1920's, and how progressive and open it was. I know I'm rambling, but do either of you have any knowledge of queer life in post- war Germany? Sorry, maybe this topic is a bit too much to get into over comments.

I have some mixed feelings regarding this episode, it adapted basically nothing out of the manga and was kind of boring to me...I think they should of make a movie out of this arc instead of a full season, I don't know will wait a few more episodes to see how it goes

Did I mishear the guy who said Tanjiro should be able to defeat Uzui? Let’s not be delusional. Tanjiro has definitely risen in the ranks, but defeating a hashira is in his distant future.

The fact is this episode adapted 1.5 page in the manga, all the other scenes are anime original and i love that, as manga reader these type of conversation between characters are precious since I've read the manga, ufotable cooked with everything 💯 I told you guys they're frds im so glad sanemi and obanai got a conversation scene 😁✨

Hoshina said in the training episode he’s showing all the signs to scale the “wall” other officers won’t be able to. Think of him as a late blooming prodigy, a second Shinoniya almost. Hoshina knows what Kaiju No 8 looks like because of the old man from the hospital in episode 2. He gave a description to the defense force and they put the artist sketch on tv 😊

Kurapika is an angry 17/18 year old. Getting mad is his character flaw as of now.

The phantom troupe is Kurapika's weakness. He even told his friends after his fight with the prisoner with fake spider tatoo in episode 9, that even if he sees a real spider, it triggers him. I've read the manga about Kurapika's back story so, I understand his trauma and hatred towards the spiders. He truly needs someone like Melody by his side.

Uvogin is based on Wolverine's enemy: Sabretooth who have the same powerset except the adamantium claws. When Kurapika's eyes turn red, he is in a state of intense emotion. He can have difficulties to control himself.

This arc is considered to be one of the best on all anime out there. Better prepare yourself for banger after banger episodes
