This is from 1994. Not '97. Back in September 1999, my Manager used this for me as a Training Video when I was sweet 16.
Where the fuck did you find this..LSsQ has been trying so hard to find this

This is not the one I remember. It's very cool that we found one instead of none! It's just disappointing to know there's others out there...
What? There are multiples??
@@calixtomesterhazy3729 yyyyyup. Probably by year. This is the first one, possibly, made in 1997. The one I played was in 98/99.
@@anactualmotherbear Do you have any proof?
@@BluesCluesTheWigglesFTW I'll give you this detail: at some point it tells you what to do in case of a robbery, then you are quizzed on it. I'm pretty much the first person to bring up the Burger King CD-i training discs as I was one of the only people to remember them. No one believed me then either, but here we are now.

I worked here in the 90's and these videos crack me up, the job was one of the toughest jobs I have ever had in my life. I started up front that wasn't too bad but the back is where I worked all though High School and it killed me. That broiler grill was hell to clean LOL They make it seem so easy.
I'll never forget hearing about "broiler tear-down" in my Dad's store. That thing sounded like a beast to clean and maintain.
Bait and switch, lol. It's kind of like life 😄
I remember the BK near me had a broiler fire one time. It smelled great lol
Bk 1999 here, remember sitting in the tiny little office watching this.
It’s quite fascinating how all these corporate videos make the environment look way more cleaner and exciting than what most of these places actually look like.
This is the exact training video used when I worked at Burger King in high school... 1997 to 2001
Good luck the most important people in our operations is the min wage workers that you see on a daily basis. Well the rich guy behind the desk reading his scripts says all the bs you need to hear in the first minute.
Dude, I want to see what the first YTP of this will be
someone will
starting with Beef
I cam imagine cs188 being all over this lol
Your patty is important without Burger King
CANT WAIT...ITS GONNA BE HILLARIOUS
Those were the days. 2023 - all fast food has been taken over by kiosks and there are literally signs that say “ no more than 30 mins in dining area “ or else you’re considered loitering. Sad
According to a thread on the lost media wiki Kmart training CD-i discs exist so there’s definitely more of these out there.
Yeah I actually know a guy who has one of those displays but hes too lazy to get it out of his storage unit, annoying
@@MrBurnsObscureGamesTester I used this as a Training Video when I got Hired a BK in Seattle/Federal Way,WA in September 1999. My Store Manager Dan had a CDi in his Office.
Also this is from 1994, Not '97. It was filmed in '94.
@@Tornado1994 Filmed 1994, but disc released in 1997, it's most likely based on a vhs that was used before the release of this CD though, thanks for the info.
@@MrBurnsObscureGamesTester Likewise :). And you're welcome.
I wish you had the 2nd Part. Its even BETTER with really corny acting.
"At Burger King, we're a low wage, high profit company. Welcome to the company." 📈 🤑
That's not fair
According to Wikipedia, Jim McLamore died August 8, 1996. If this CD-i was indeed released in 1997, then it was done posthumously.
The video was filmed in October of 1994.
@@Tornado1994 but when was the Cd-i released? Obviously it was filmed before he died 🙂
Matthew Burns and Keith Kramer co-founded Insta-Burger King in Jacksonville, Florida in 1953, but it was the Miami-based Insta-Burger King franchisees James McLamore and David Edgerton who kept the Insta-Burger King chain alive, starting in 1954, with the name being shortened to Burger King...
What is it with some companies refusing to use the word “customer” and saying “guest” instead? It’s Burger King, not a Hyatt.
They recently revert to use this logo, which is good.
My manager at BK in 1999 was more of father figure to me than my own dad. I learned a lot from that man and am now quite successful.
Can you make a 20 hour business class of how to go from working at Burger King to running your own business. I would like to learn.
We had issues cooking the chicken patties because the chicken patties were known to get struck to the chains and get jammed at the back.
Chicken Fries, Apple Pies, *WHOPPERS...*

These things won't be training videos in the future, they'll be historical documentaries of a bygone era.
Very cool find. Thanks for sharing. 💛
Omg 😳 these are so old training vids this is amazing 🤩
I remember when Burger King gave out toys based on Disney-Pixar's "Toy Story" in their kids' meals...
There was a point in time where the BK toys were miles ahead of McDonald's toys. BK even had something called "the big kids meal" where you would get toys that were more "grown-up". They had the BK kids club too. Where you sent away to be in the club and got things in return.
It's amazing how just the introductory music takes you back to the 90s. The vibes was so special back then. If this man was or is alive today I hope he realizes how far things have fallen. It's amazing how far in 27 years since this BK has declined.
sadly he died one year before this instructions video was released, maybe that's why things developed as they did.
Sorry for the low quality, youtube murders vcds if you don't upscale them
No worries - still glad to see it!
In my experience, Topaz’s Video Enhance AI tends to handle the compression on VCD really well. I’d recommend trying that if you’re upscaling more in the future.
Any patties held longer then ten minutes throw away. Well, I will take those thankyou very much🙂
BK worker: Did you catch the game last night?
Customer: Give me that
8:20 Place the raw chicken patties on the top shelf... There is clearly lettuce stored in the same refrigerator so doing that now is a huge food safety violation. Chicken always goes on the bottom as it requires a higher cooking temperature to kill bacteria safely. To be honest though I'd do the same thing at home as in the video if there wasn't much room.
Yes I just noticed that too. I would not stand for that
Those who worked at BK. How many beef patties and chicken was thrown out because the time limit was up? Or were the time limits ignored? I never worked fast food but it can't be easy. That's why I have patience with them.
BK was actually good back then with fresh ingredients and very clean
They make it seem like a fun job and the best one..... lol
Beautiful. I was born with BK and will die with BK!

But the quality of taste has changed a lot.

How am I only now discovering that this was found? I heard about it from LSuperSonicQ, surprised he hasn't talked about it being found.
Watching this, I feel nostalgic for something I've never done or lived lol :D
Do you have the original CD with this content, or did you find it in some web archive?
Okay you the king
At first I was asking myself "why would they make it for the CD-i? Why not just make VHS tapes?" then I thought "well, maybe it was cheaper to make CD copies than VHS copies". But just now I saw that this is from 1997. Why making it for the CD-i instead of the PS1 which was way more accessible?
PS1 was designed to be a game console, while CD-i was perfect for a multimedia hardware, which is why many non-gaming companies and authorities developed media for it.
(I think they didn't choose 3DO because it was much more expensive than CD-i to develop)
This was from 1994, not '97.
I once got busy in a Burger King bathroom!!
My man went from fry cook to owner while his buddy still on the fry station..😂😂😂 wait...that's me...😟
Thank you Burger King for opening up in Mongolia 🇲🇳🍔
Oh my f*ck the food waste is incredible.
i bet they do it a new way now vs this old way
Love Burger King! Better than McDonalds..
I wish we could have a restaurant where there was BK burgers and McDonald's French fries. It would be perfect.
Jim Mclamore died Aug 1996.
The video was made in 1994.

Does anybody know if we watch videos on the first day? I’d rather just start working

All the while accompanied by those horrible poorly drawn Zelda CDI sprites with bad voice acting.

Cleaning the bathrooms is a nasty job, especially after someone sprays diarreah all over the toilet and floor
If we’re the most important people to the company why are we making the least amount of money they can legally pay us
Well this video did not age well...
Did they really ship out cd-i just to send out this video? Why not just put it on a VHS tape???
A vhs tape will get old very fast after multiple viewings, and this disc also contains interactive options for learning how to cook the food
