Laura - the trail is so gorgeous - there is nothing better than being in nature! Loved the acorn craft. Lol at the little acorn fail but it was a great idea to try. I hope you and your family are well and I can’t wait to check out your holiday videos. 🥰

It’s feeling more like winter here in Northern IL. Rosalie went trick or treating in the snow. We need to be more like you guys and take more hikes. Looks so pretty there. LOL, our family likes scaring each other also.
When you are in Kentucky go see Cocaine Bear! Melissa and I just saw that movie. You always get lucky seeing wild life. Rosalie would loose her mind if she saw those piggies.
I can’t imagine trick or treating in the snow!! Wow. I guess you guys really are pretty far north compared to StL. Oh man. We didn’t see Cocaine Bear yet-is it scary?!

I have! I rated it 5/5 - loved it. Here’s what I said on Goodreads about it:
“The “horror” scenes are campy and unsettling, which I enjoyed.
Even more so, I enjoyed the exploration of real-life horrors: generational trauma, grief, and the devastating effect that taking secrets to the grave can have on the living.
10/10 ending”
That being said it only has 3.73 average rating on Goodreads so not everyone enjoyed it the same way. There’s one scene that’s really graphic, but the other horror scenes are so bizarre they didn’t scare me-I laughed out loud a couple of them. But that’s the kind of horror I like.
