  • In today’s video we’re hiking the Devil’s Icebox trail in Rock Bridge Memorial State Park located in Columbia, Missouri. The Devil’s Icebox trail is a very popular trail in this area, so even on a hot and humid day like when we hiked it there were still quite a few other hikers! The natural features on this trail were really cool to see (pun intended!) 😉 Come along with us!
    Thanks for watching,
    💕 Laura

I need to live in a place like the icebox, where the temps get cold... that sounds like heaven.

Right?? Except then don’t come back out and have to finish hiking-it almost made it worse getting a moment to cool off… made the heat and humidity that day very noticeable! 😆

Great hike! Weird name but that temp drop must be great for the summer! We have hikes like this on the north west side of georgia!

Right? I was wondering how it got its name-if we go back we’ll have to ask a park ranger. It was probably explained on a sign somewhere but I didn’t happen to read it. Too busy taking videos. 😆 I love your outdoor Georgia videos! I agree some of it looks similar to Missouri! 💕🌿🥾

Smart getting those walking poles. I have the touristy stick from the gift shop. You guys plan way better than us. This is so pretty and great walk to cool off at the icebox. That would be scary if she actually saw the Devil 😈. Cicada’s have taken over close to our area. Love how you edit these adventures.

The poles are actually from the gift shop at Great Smokies but they’re pretty decent quality. We’ve taken them on a bunch of hikes now and they held up. I don’t usually hike with a pole unless it’s snow and ice… my hands are always full with the camera. Lol 😆 It was a *cool* trail for sure! 😉 I think the cicadas have left our area now-I just noticed it’s so much quieter! 😂 Glad I captured a few photos and videos of them before they went “back to hell where they belong” as Mark says. 😂 Thanks, Carl!! 🥾🌿
