Don't spray Oermethrine on your clothes while you're wearing them. That chemical is very toxic while in liquid form. Spray your clothes while hanging on the line and let them dry. Permethrin is also very toxic to cats, so don't ever spray with them around.

Loved the video, we haven't been able to get up that way, but want to! Some other trails would be the Wilderness Trail at Meramec state park, the Big Piney Trail in the patty creek Wilderness and the Kaintuck Hollow, they have multiple trails that all lead into a big circle of trails and every trail is different!!! I like the Peak Refuel Biscuits & Gravy. But it needs some black pepper and maybe a bit of salt. The Sawyer Squeeze is my favorite water filter. If you roll the bag, like a tube of toothpaste, the water will come out faster. I'm not a fan of the bags Sawyer ships though. I usually replace them with a bag from CNOC Outdoors or Evernew. The CNOC bags are MUCH easier to fill if you have to get water from a lake or pond because it has the big opening on the back end.

Did you just spray Sawyer Permethrin on your pants while wearing them???

Just fyi the permethrin you treated your clothes with at the beginning of the vid is meant to be sprayed on clothing and hung to dry completely before wearing. That type of insect repellent is not meant to make contact with your skin. It will also last a couple washes before you have to reapply.

The weird "dancy" thing with the light is because you were using an LED headlamp, which actually flickers really fast, faster than the eye notices, and it doesn't match the frame rate of the camera. Great video!

Wow, a solo trip. When I do this it is so different without the family. This had to be from the vault because I’m guessing that warerfall is frozen now 🥶. Sucha beautiful walk, your vlogs are so natural and your edits are seamless. That room you stayed at was pretty spacious. Mall of America is so big that we barely see anything. Thanks for taking us around.

Wow! I hear so many different accents, depending on the words you say. Pennsylvania is a little like that too. I came here because I read that the TV actress Doris Roberts (of Everybody Loves Raymond fame) was originally from Missouri. I’m fascinated because her accent on the show was distinctively “Long Island” and never changed, so I assumed she was native to that region. Accents all over the nation are evolving as people have become more mobile. I suspect urbanization has a lot to do with it, as well as the internet, which exposes people to more standard American English. It’s fascinating how dialects change over time. Now, the one piece of dialect I *cannot stand* is when northerners like myself say “Y’all” in a sentence. That colloquialism has become more and more popular over the last 10 years with non-Southerners, and non-Southern caucasians. It bugs me because it feels like a fad that people use in order to make themselves look hip and cool. Sorta takes the charm out of it. Why can’t they just embrace the white and nerdy? Why can’t they just accept the regional culture they came from? I just think people make themselves look stupid when they appropriate regional colloquialisms that aren’t theirs. So sorry for the rant! I went way off topic 😂. Great video, BTW!
