This was more bike build than an upgrade to Di2. Would have been nice to focus a bit more on your title subject, the Di2. There is not a lot of installation of the Di2 components like the battery, bar end junction, and the more intricate wiring like in the bars. I put my wireless unit inside the head tube and bottom tube junction. Works great and is sealed from the elements. I installed my wires from the bar end junction box completely inside the bars as well.
Très belle vidéo comme quoi un vélo peux dure extrêmement longtemps avec juste un petit coup de jeune moi je en ai un de 9ans j espère pouvoir le garder encore très très longtemps
The first generation of DI2 Shimano was really good be cause of very good quality as well long time battery life. Unfortunately the new models are completely disaster the lasting time battery is too short.
Nice job. Was thinking about getting in contact about doing a Felt FC, then remembered it's all external. Not sure you'd be able to get the power out through the little hole in the bottom of the frame. (I'm 150 miles away, but I've got a friend in Kirkley)
There’s ways and means but the hurdle at the moment is the main U.K. importer for Shimano has delivery dates for Di2 derailleurs of Jan 22 & shifters of August 22 so you’ve got at least a year before parts become readily available again & Shimano launched their next generation Di2 group sets only yesterday (wireless from shifters to derailleur which might play into your conversion nicely) but these have no delivery time scales as yet.
@@Bikespeeds OUCH! I knew it was bad, but didn’t realise it had got that bad. I’ve let things slide for 5 years (hence a relatively non-worn out Felt FC) and I’m not keen on buying a new one as I object to the extreme price increases. What used to be a £2,000 level bike now appears to go for £4,000 and up. I don’t mind inflation, or paying for innovation, but it’s got a bit silly.
We have had that job come in. With di2 being much more common now it’s a question of wether we will end up doing that job again but if we do we will film it🧡
U.K.? Us. It’s a bit of a mine field retro fitting Di2 to get it spot on and Shimano in the U.K. has some extended waits on some components (as I’m sure is the case in the rest of the world at time of comment) if you Google us you can send us a message
I can’t remember now. I got them off eBay, I specifically wanted an integrated stem. I remember at the time them being a compromise between branding a price. I’ve since sold the bike so can’t check.
@@Bikespeeds that is very true. red etap is quite expensive. i have been considering force etap. i want to change my wheels as well so it is a large chunk of money.
Loving all the workshop noises! Nice one, thanks for the video! 😊
I've been going through all your old video's, it's great seeing Simons progress in filming techniques 😀
Been doing the videos since I was 13!🧡
Lol, love the ASMR of this video.
Made it look easy as awesome bike!
Thanks Paul!🧡⚙️
Loved it, wish it was longer 😁
Thank you steppings 🧡👍🏻🚲
Satisfying
This is the groupset I want. Electronic gears over disc brakes.
this is a very pleasant video indeed

Great video! I'm curious to know, would an Ultegra Di2 rim brake upgrade result in weight savings when upgrading from a 105 fully mechanical groupset?
More like 2021 Bike ASMR 🤣
Great edit!
Thank you!
Super cool video!!!!!
Thanks for watching a couple of our videos Jennifer we appreciate the support!🧡
Damn good foley work on this video! :D
Did you convert the wheels to tubeless? Can that be done with most ordinary wheelsets?
Wow... fantastic.
Thanks Jalesveva glad you’re enjoying the content!🚲
Well produced vlog my friend
Thank you Pete, thanks for watching ⚙️🧡👍🏻
Awesome
Thanks Mike!
That was a good one.

hell yeah..
Hello bikespeeds! Can you make a video retrofitting Di2 on frames without internal cable routing?
We have had that job come in. With di2 being much more common now it’s a question of wether we will end up doing that job again but if we do we will film it🧡
4:20 can you tell me please, the name of the "chain lube"?
Moulten speed wax with a dusting of moulten speed powder
Nice

BSA!!!!!! YAY
the sound effects😂
in 2021 i would go straight to sram etap.
I think its horses for courses really, Ultegra Di2 is currently the cheapest way to go electronic.

@@charng as with all these things, it might not make us faster but boy do the bikes feel like a special occasion and nice to ride.
@@charng Shimano is still the lighter groupsets if I am not mistaken. Sure Sram is wireless, but I don't see the huge benefit in that.
