Been snared by a pirate two days ago, was glad to see actual interaction between players and not just brain dead pew pew. Was flying a small ship so was not on the target list for our pirate. Once he told me he is huntint RMC dupers i kept it nice and hush hush where he was having his shop set up :D The whole snare/block feels very much like EvE online, the only way to avoid it will be to indirect jump, which most people wont bother with
Would be cool counter play for the pirated player to be able to "report the position to the cops" so to speak and have a counter mercenary mission be offered or something after a couple reports from the area. only a last known position and not a tracked bounty god marker or anything like that.
The mercs, would of course go in blind, not knowing how many ships they are up against or anything so the pirates can choose to stay and fight if they have the force to do so or flee to the next spot to set up camp
100% agree. I hope they implement 1 click emergency call. So players around can immediately come to help. It would be very useful with server meshing when we get more people.
solo mantis is no threat... 568 DPS, 3000 HP shield. its a pew pew BANG ship and 12k mantis radius isnt the greatest... solo, you either die with the mantis or the snare wears off or the target is out of range and QT's away 99% of the time

At least the Scorpius rocks now. They just have to give the Antares the Dampener on top of the 4-Guns Turret and it would be insanely good. ;-)

i still think you should be able to see any ships appearing in your snare bubble before they get snared

Pro Pirate tip: use a crypto card to make a permanent marker for your interdiction point. 👊

Does Antares QED is working at 3.23 ? As far as I know Antares or normal scorpious manned turrets are not working
Yes. Antares dampener is functional. EMP is getting fixed next patch.

so it only snares on the excact moment that you press the initiate it doesnt stay snarring??
Snare stays on and drops anyone from QT who crosses the 20km bubble.
You initiate and keep it. It will snare until you turn it off.
