Traveling in Japan is an assault on the senses, no doubt about it. After exploring some of Japan's most interesting (and crazy) cities for the past week, it was time to get out of the city and travel to the other side of Japan, the beautiful mountains around Hakone. This area is famous for its views over Mount Fuji, and its Onsen's (Japanese natural hot baths) and of course it would be rude not to try these. There is a problem however, if you have tattoos you are allowed to enter the Japanese public baths, we both have sleeves... This is the real, traditional Japan, the one we all see on postcards and we've dreamt of since arriving 🇯🇵
