My wife and I are going full-time in January. We are getting an Alliance 385FL. I am hoping to boindock 90% of the time but nervous about doing that in a fifth wheel. Thanks for making it easier for us to wrap our heads around the challenge!
Waving hello from Ontario Canada, my husband and I just purchased a beautiful 36 foot fifth wheel we’ve been watching all your videos. Thank you for all the great advice.
Yessss to a meetup at the RV show in Florida!!! 🎉 And I love the idea of a FB for you and your people. Such a great way to interact more regularly & more personally. Also just another way for all of us to connect with like minded individuals. ❤
Another awesome vid, you guys rock!! We're going fulltime Dec. 1st, we're nervous and excited at the same time. We've never done this before either, and we're gojng thru the exact same issues you had at first. Keep the vids coming, we're following your lead!!!
In the city where I live now, Amazon maintains a number of locations with lockers for shipping packages from Amazon. I have seen full-timers on RUclips retrieve packages from lockers, so as long as you are happy with Amazon, then these lockers are useful.
Glad to found you two and a common sense video , The wife and I are learning so much from your Experiences , We are in our last two weeks in our house ( San Clemente ) and hope it rents fast and we are new full timers ready to learn .Great job again .
We made a mistake when we first started full time RV'ing - we didn't leave our hometown/area. We should have started our journey around the country the minute we sold our house, but because it was summer we wanted to stay in our area because we love it here (long island NY) WE are now in an RbNB until February when we FINALLY start our travel around the country. I follow you and have learned a lot.We have the same rig - we love it!
We have owned Starlink since 2021. We had it fall off roof once and Starlink replaced it one time. We have been in the trees of Glacier NP in Apgar and we could text and send messages on wifi. It buffered a little bit but we were able to text mainly. Not needing full time signal is great. Dont need cell service 24/7. Grew up without it but its nice when needed just dont see paying all that money to have SL and a cell package with data. Oh I would suggest buying the extra cable for Starlink, we have had times when we need a few extra ft . I posted a short video of my Starlink in the woods.
Solid advice. We have extra cable, although only used it once. The pole for our ladder has been key. We have the pole extension and can push that sucker past trees sometimes. Never had ot fall (knock on something). I agree, if you aren’t working a lot like us, or have the need for constant and clear connection daily, I’m not sure I’d pay the price either.
Even though T-mobile Home Internet is still not being cutoff, it will be eventually. You may want to investigate the T-mobile Business Internet options. They can be quite affordable.
Darlene and Barry … Just love your channel! Thanks for sharing these topics. I’ve been full time for two years now and love it. Since I’m now single, the most difficult task for me is finding a good woman like Darlene who is game for this lifestyle! Barry, not sure where you found Darlene, but you are a lucky man! Just say’n! Keep up the great work, vids, and stay safe out there! Maybe we will cross paths one of these days. God Bless! SUB EARNED! 👍🏼😎🇺🇸
Thanks so much and appreciate your feedback and the sub. As for me (Darlene) he got me young… 15 years old. lol I didn’t know any better 😜 (I kid… I kid)
Hello!, I love your informative and straight forward information! Looking forward to your course! Non resident fishing license can get pricey. How do you manage it? I think some states once you are 65 no charge.
It’s funny, we recorded this subject but it ended up getting cut due to lack of time. lol yes, it can get pricey. He really picks and chooses the states he fishes. Luckily we tend to spend a long time in a state so it worth it when we are there a month or so.
My question is, Black tanks are what they are. But my issues are with gray tanks. How do you get rid of the massive amount of soap suds, so you can get a clean dump. I also think the soap suds is the main problem with my liquid level sensors.
Ya know, we have never had a suds issue. We do the Reverse flush on our gray sometimes, which can help. We honestly don’t even use or rely on our sensors. lol They never have worked very well. Even after a professional cleaning.
What do you guys think about the Portable Wi-Fi Devices? I have purchased and received a RYOKO device with charger. I have not been out anywhere to judge usefulness or effectiveness. Only complaint I have so far is cost of data plans.
How do you kids feel about not having a ‘home’ to come home to? We are sending our twins to college, selling everything and traveling with our 9 yr old. I’m so worried we’re going to scar our twins by not having a home base.
Our daughter never complained. She actually enjoys coming to new and exciting places on her breaks. Plus, she’s a third year now and I’m pretty sure she’s not coming to stay with us much anymore, she goes with friends on spring break, plus, because she’s an athlete in season, she doesn’t get as many breaks. We chose the toyhauler so she can have her own space. The “garage” is her bedroom and she has a half bath, lol she’s good. Our son never comes. He’s 25 and on his own.
Hi guys. I have a question concerning permanent address for a Texas Drivers License. I'm being told that I have to have a Brick and Mortar address to renew my Drivers License. Is that true.
Sort of. You can use a service like Escapees for a domicile address. It needs to be a real physical address and not a PO Box at a mailing center… from what I understand.
Does your bank and investment brokers have any issue with that address. We have heard that banks and loans are cracking down on some of these: we haven’t experienced it though.
@@liketheresnotomorrow my Credit Union bank will not change my address from an apartment that I used to live in, eventhough I no longer live there. They also would not accept my UPS mailbox location or virtual office address I have either as valid addresses.
@@liketheresnotomorrow Currently I am living with a roof over my head renting a room in a house. As soon as I can get all the financing together, I plan to purchase the small trailer I mentioned earlier and travel in Texas primarily.

We’re so excited for you! Welcome to the RV family!🥳
Starlink is a must for boondockers, not all fulltimers. I to, still use my tmobile home 5G. Always works everywhere we've gone in the last 2 years.
Love seeing what people are most interested in with their questions. Great work
We had so many that we’d have to do three more videos to get them all in. Some were really funny too. lol
You are the best!!
Backatcha sis😜❤️
Thanks for sharing your journey.
Our pleasure! Thanks for tuning in❤️
Great job!! Y’all did a wonderful job. Look forward to the RV course!

Our rig got delivered last Friday and a truck found us on Monday. Next we sell the house! Great video and great questions!
Oh my gosh!!! That’s so exciting. Let us know how else we can help👍😜❤️

That’s so sweet of you, for the longest time, everyone said he favored me, I love that both kids favor him as they grow older❤️❤️❤️

Starlink- Do you do the roaming package (lower priority data) or residential and change the address when you move?
We have an old plan that isn’t offered anymore. Residential with portability. We don’t have to change the address at all.
My question is, Black tanks are what they are. But my issues are with gray tanks. How do you get rid of the massive amount of soap suds, so you can get a clean dump. I also think the soap suds is the main problem with my liquid level sensors.

Love your channel! I wanted to ask if you guys are concerned about wild animals while out boon docking ?
Not really. We mentioned this in our RV Dangers video. Just don’t leave anything out that attracts them. If we do long hikes we have bear spray.
Here’s that video

@@liketheresnotomorrow Thanks!! That was one of my major concerns! I’ll check out your RV dangers video again, as well.

The data will get ya. If you are online for any significant amount, get an unlimited plan.
I'm self-employed and don't currently have an address to call home. I have a virtual office and mailbox with UPS.
I am interested in your course. Please post the info. The QR code didn't work for me. THanks again!
It’s not live yet. If you go jump on our email list we’ll notify you. Liketheresnotomorrow.net
I want to buy a small trailer and pull it behind my SUV.
Can you turn Starlink on and off monthly?
I’d check the Starlink site. There was one that you could turn off and on, but I’m not sure about how often you can do that.

I use iPostal and have that address listed on my CDL. The UPS store also offers this service.
