John Barnett-Pattison, senior supervisor for Shepley Engineers, takes us through the process of restoring cast ironworks on the roof and in the building in the Elizabeth Tower. The work is hard and heavy, but requires a deft touch. John talks us through the process, and how modern technology helps them bring the 160-year old metalwork up to date.
