    This is the best how to training video I've seen for the 40 yard dash. I've been using some of these tips with my son's tackle football team. Thanks!

    • @Cosoapfkgi
      @Cosoapfkgi 5 лет назад +1

      GZ Kaidono I am pretty sure it’s your power foot, you have your opposite hand back and when the timer starts then you pull it forward along with your opposite foot for a better start

    • @Cosoapfkgi

      You can experiment and see which foot you start with is faster

    Is a 40 yard dash good for general fitness? My sprints don't last very long, can I use 40 yard dash to build up endurance?

    • @Shukulo
      @Shukulo 7 лет назад +1

      Ok but why wouldn't 40 yard dash work for building endurance. Sprints are a measure of speed and they are still a workout. Would you call a 1rm max lift for example not a workout?

      @@123Hoops if you’re finishing w/ your right hand your left leg acts as a shield against the defender while also using the rim as the same function. Opposite applies if you go from the left side and use your left hand
