      You mean 4.5s right?
      I’d say most 16 year old kids I see aren’t around 4.6 , they are typcually 4.9s - 5s . If you truly have been laser timed.
      Most kids come in and tell me they run a 4.6, typically run a 4.8 because of stopwatch timing.
      Yes, I’d aim to take .1-.2 of your 40 with proper offseason speed and strength training homie ✊

    • @AthleticPreparation
      @AthleticPreparation 3 года назад +1

      A good “strike” spot is mid-foot. Kinda the front arch of your foot, not necessarily “toes” - that makes sense if you feel like you’re going to fall running on your toes -
      Optimizing your sprint mechanics always will make you more efficient which should help you sprint faster ✊✊

      Yes - genetics and muscle fiber type are always limiting factors ... but you CAN get faster - as to how fast, dunno exactly but we are all about performing to YOUR potential - to work hard and discover what your body is capable of because often - you can achieve more than you think / give yourself credit for.

      I'd say 4.89 is really good for 12. Some high school kids coming and don't even hit that.
