Troy Goldberg's Tropical Garage might be the best channel on bioactive builds, imo. He keeps dart frogs and his enclosures are spectacular. He's responsible for popularizing the drylok foam bg, possibly invented it, not sure. Anyway, a tip I learned from him is, instead of using tape or strings to hold hardscape in place, you can use liquid superglue, it safe for animals and vivs, once dried of course, and cotton. It bonds very strong and very fast. Just put a little wad of cotton between your hardscape and the point(s) of contact with your glass or foam and drip glue into the cotton, and hold for 15sec or so. It only works with the runny liquid, so no gel or anything more viscous. It causes a reaction that will get pretty hot but it only takes a tiny bit if you only want it held in place so you can foam it in. Use a bit more if you don't want to finish in foam, like you could fix a branch to a glass part of a tank, if you don't want to follow up with great stuff. You can create much more precise and elaborate hardscape with this method, and it's surprisingly simple. I've come to love dart frog vivs more than any other type, due to their versatility and delicacy. You can use any type of plant, no matter how fragile, as well as different mosses. Some enthusiasts use very exotic and rare hard difficulty level plants, micro ferns and nano orchids and such. The plants usually sell for more than the frogs. I would like to be able to build such a vivarium one day, but I'm gonna stick with the single gecko for the foreseeable future lol

Mike Tytula has some really cool dart frog tanks, too, he's collabbed w Troy, but he's known more for reptiles. He has a lot of hognoses, actually, those are mainly his gf's project. There are some really great Canadian herptubers. Mike is one of my favorites in general. Idk how long he has been at it, but I was recommended a video of his today that was made ten years ago. He must've been in hs at the time. It sounded like his voice had not changed yet lol. So cute.

Also, though I'd guess you're familiar with him, check out Serpa Design. He's huge, all kinds of "ariums", massive expert, great instructional content

A serrated steak knife is the way to go, imo, but the butter knife seems to work great for you, surprisingly. :)

If I had to guess, I would say it most likely worked out great, clean up crew and all. It's weird, it looked like burrows had been dug out before you even put Cygnus in. The set up was beautiful. How is everything doing now? I would love to see some update videos on your different projects. I've always wanted to see people do update videos showing how their vivs progress, grow in or grow over, or decline and recover. I've seen some videos like that with dart frog vivs, but not many. And there's a couple of channels with wild type vivaria that span years, but mainly with bugs, like Nordic Ants and some Canadian ant type channel I can't remember. It would be really cool to see old and new footage together. I love the huge isos you use. Bioactive vivariums are just THE coolest hobby ever. Being able to have such a seemingly accurate facsimile of a real life ecosystem complete with amazing higher lifeforms blows my mind. It's the hobby to end all hobbies. Reptiles and amphibians are some of the coolest animals in the world and they work so well in such setups. I'm trying not to leave a thousand different comments, but I've been hooked on this genre of content for months. It ticks all my boxes.

This was a good video but you need to stay on topic. You were drifting off in this video and talking about things that weren't connected to the subject. Plus, you need to talk louder. In this video, you sounded scared to talk (?), long pauses, and you need to practice talking CONSISTENTLY. With you having exceeding times of not talking, it made me think the video was paused by bad internet and seemed very awkward. Please find this comment useful and not mean in any way as all I am doing is trying to help you get better towards making a successful channel. I'm sorry, but I have to dislike this video. Just simply because of all the errors I found.

Well, I don't think she necessarily uploads these videos to join the youtube rat race in an attempt to reach big numbers. Surely your comment was meant in a nice way, I am not doubting that but since we both do not know what her intentions are let's not assume her channel is "unsuccessful". The things she shared were helpful to me and I appreciated her uploading them... if that was hr intention then her channel is successful.

Yeah dude homie was proud of her enclosure no need to say it’s not good enough. I did almost the same exact thing for my rat snake and he loves it
