Every video we see is 5--6--7--8 cops show up for a guy with a camera, who is committing no crimes, as they continue to stand around, and try and find any possible reason to violate someone's rights and freedom..

The thing that makes me upset about this encounter, is that it is an inverted situation. Meaning… normally the speaker at the podium (usually a member of the People) is silenced, but now when it’s a member of the panel standing up for the People, they want to silence HIM too! If that makes sense…

Here's an idea Sheriff. Stop sending 3 or 4 Deputies for such minor calls as citizens recording in public, butt hurt govt workers who refuse to do there jobs, citizens holding protest signs in public. Quit doing those thing and you should be able to cut the payroll by one third.

Here is NE Fla they claim they only start out making 30-40k year, but almost all of them make 80-100k their first year. Many cops here retire on 250k a year in retirement.

Shady Grady in Po dunk county (Polk) refuses the body cams on the same exact principle. They’re too expensive. He also refuses to apply for the federal grants. It’s easier to allow your officers to run amok and violate citizens rights than to have accountability when you’re afraid of what might be seen. But, the ignorant people in that county thinks he walks on water. Until they get wrapped up in some BS.
Any LEA that refuses body cams is corrupt.
Same story in York County Va.They just built a multi million dollar Police Station that was never needed.

There is a simple solution to this problem. Just have all of the Badge Bunnies and "I back the blue" supporters to reach into their own pockets and give it to the sheriff's department. They could even start a Go Fund Me page.

We all know there is fat to cut. We’ve seen officers making over 100,000 with overtime. I saw one officer in California making over 400,000 a year with overtime on Susan Bassi’s channel. That’s 1/2 a million dollars a year with benefits for one officer.

My mom worked for a few municipalities in FL, she said law enforcement gets BY FAR the largest percentage of tax dollars and it’s not even close

In Polk County Florida, the Polk County Sheriffs Office also do not have body cams or even dash cams, and Sheriff Grady Judd doesn’t want them. There is zero transparency in this Sheriffs office.

In keansburg New Jersey they just built a new 18 million police station and they used an old time clock from the old police station recently the police chief took a hundred thousand dollars from the citizens and the attorney for the city said it was okay for him to take the $100,000 because it was an old time clock they used what a bunch of BS

All that money spent on military gear could have been used to educate the officers on our supreme law and the penalties they will face if they break that code and training on how to perform their jobs without violating the rights and the bodies of the people that they are hired to protect from rights violations!
I don't want to defund the police I want to refund the police as in reallocate their funds such as spend less on military style weapons and vehicles because why do they need military quality they're not at war, and spend more on items such as body cams that would hold them accountable but we all know it doesn't matter anyway they would find a way around it anyway.
This county officials are afraid that if the public knows what they’re doing with our taxes they are afraid that they will lose their jobs.
