Frostmourne - Leather Crafting Tutorial

Ever tryed to make a weapon from leather? Well here is your chance. It is a very difficult and diverse build so you definitly should have exerpiecnce with foam, leather, sewing and skulpting for this, it will challenge on all those topics and exact work.

Recommended materials
- 2,5 mm (6 oz) veg. tanned leather- Napa Leather or other soft stretchy leather about 0,7 m² (7,5 sq foot)
- 3 cm (1,2 inch) wide 1,8 m (6 foot) long straps of velour leather of soft handy leather for handle and guard
- 10 mm high density EVA Foam about 2 m² (22 sq foot)
- 5 mm high density EVA Foam just 2 smaller pieces
- 10 mm low density EVA Foam 2 straps 3 cm (1,2 inch) wide 0,8 m (3 foot) long
- 10 x 12 x 100 mm (0,4 x 0.5 x 39 inch) Core Staff - Weight Band, about 5 m (17 foot) 500 g
- Soft drying glue like wood glue
- Contact Cement
Tools: scroll saw or similar drill press, sander, rotary tool, fabric sewing machine, edge trimmer, cutting knife, burnisher, hole punch, leather carving tools, bone folder, clamps, sewing material, diamond shaped chisel, wing divider
Size at 100% scale:
1,4 m long, 30 cm wide, 14 cm thick, 1,8 kg heavy
