I’m glad Lisa’s truths are out. For anyone who still supports Priscilla, is appalling. Lisa was a broken child and she needed her mother, but Priscilla was an epic failure as a mother. Lisa forgave her and that shows how mature and kind Lisa was. RIP Elvis and Lisa.

I haven't seen Reinventing Elvis either, so this Netflix doc is something entirely new to me.
I enjoyed the eyes quiz, even recognized some of the pairs 😀 Love the background poster also, great photo.
Thank you for the show and I'm glad you are feeling better. Hopefully soon I will be able to watch the show live and get to chat with you directly.

I wish they would do a documentary on Elvis regarding all the first he did, music, fashion, dance moves, first idol, opened the door for black music, helped cross the black / white barrier, actually helped black artist like Jackie Wilson, Dionne Warwick, BB King, he changed music culture and industry.

Hi Steve, good show agree with you about the new documentary, and don't think it will be anything we haven't already seen, but I think younger fans will get a kick out of it,I'm an old Elvis fan, since 1956 so I'll be back in surprised if there's anything I haven't already seen, 😊

I think it's so frustrating. We all had been anticipating Lisa-Marie's memoir so much, now it's out, in all its painful and upsetting honesty. But again we are exposed to ... 'situations' we don't understand and left speculating. I don't like that, I don't like that at all 😡. I so so long for the truth finally!!!!

I enjoyed this Steve! The family has been working to bring you guys new stories-at least from his family and friends. They have made a nice effort behind the scenes. I'm glad Priscilla and Riley met on Saturday, but I thought (this is just me only!! )the grandma just does not seem that close with Riley. Some of the convo was just weird to be your grandma. But I'm glad they're working on stuff. Right before the Baz movie came out, I didn't realize how much Elvis's family meant to my older relatives in Tupelo and to Mr. Bell. I'm glad I had the opportunity to learn more about my grandparents' lives as kids and Elvis as a young kid on Green Street. Their stories always seemed like fun kids' stuff. Ms. Gladys seemed awesome! She made it a point to give the kids a good childhood. Have a good one, Steve. I appreciate you and other creators who have helped keep Elvis's spirit alive.

I haven't seen reinventing Elvis, but even if i had , i would watch it again. As for Priscilla being buried at Gracelandbis odd to me. I don't know any divorced couples that want to be buried at the sane place. I am sure Elvis wouldn't want her buried with his family.

Hi Steve! I see you're better! ....I won't tell you my opinion on P.'s burial, out of respect for you!!😀 Congratulations for the whole show, (I immediately guessed Linda's eyes, and ... I was undecided on the Red!😀 I remember that West Side Story was proposed to Elvis, but Parker didn't want it! (or am I wrong?) Hello!!

The reference in the book referring to LMP playing with 'cousins' and not naming anyone bugs me somewhat. The Smith's lived at Graceland, Billy & Jo were there for Elvis right to the end, it's a pity she cut them all off in my view. Family ties are very important.

    Hi Steve great show
I think the scene in the movie we’re he was on stage taking a drink yes a little dramatic but i do know when my mom saw him in 1977 on stage he was really taking long breaths and slurring his words but that was near the end of his death
but all his closest friends said he never touched a drink
i am going to watch the new documentary

The only way that would ever happen would be for someone like myself to be given access to all footage ever shot of Elvis, all audio and also to finance interviews with key people from his life before they have all gone.
Give me all this with 100% freedom on how it's done with help from experienced editors and producers and I would give you the Ultimate Elvis Documentary.
It'll never happen of course because after all how could an Elvis fan possibly know what other Elvis fans want.
Leave it to the money men that have no emotional connection with the subject, right?

Lisa is special because shes Elvis presley Daughter and priscilla presley is the child bride that broke Elvis presley heart. Elvis was a predator just like michael Edwards but you dont punish Elvis presley like you do priscilla presley boyfriend. You fans have two faces and God knows know both men were wrong and Elvis life he lived and the way he was punished before he died . Michael Edwards is getting his now.. Thank God.

Priscilla fans just don’t want to accept the truth. She was no mother to Lisa. Unfortunately Scientology was more her mother than Priscilla

    • @SharonMatthews-h3w
      @SharonMatthews-h3w День назад +6

She wasn't a child bride, she married him at age 21, he didn't really want to but she and her parents forced it. He met her when she 14, almost 15, a few months later he left Germany. Her and her family kept in touch with him and kept asking for her to visit him. She went 3 years later, then 3 years later he married her. Do your research. There is Not one girl who ever accused him of anything. Of any wrong doing. No one. Everyone who has ever met him said he was a gentleman, nice, generous, etc . He gave more money away than he kept. Priscilla cheated shortly after Lisa born, then again when Lisa was 3 or 4. She left for another man while married . No one talks about her affairs, her bad mothering, her crazy cult of scientology that she put Lisa in, picked her boyfriends over her daughter. Lisa said her father loved her unconditionally and knew it, unlike her mother. Lisa said in interviews the only time she felt safe and loved was with her father. Elvis was from the South, born 1935, alot of people dated young and married young back then. Stop judging by today s standards or else look at your own parents or grandparents lives, go judge them.
