Hey how about addressing the Elephant in the room. Lisa's cold selfish mother priscilla who sat by and let her be molested by Priscilla's young model boytoy named Micheal Edwards. He started molesting her at 10 years old, and did it for almost 5 years. Priscilla knew it but when Lisa complained to her mother, she sent Lisa to Scientology camp. People have to know the truth and why Lisa wrote the book. Priscilla has lied since she married Elvis and treated his daughter like a step child as did Priscilla's parents. Lisa was so lonely and told she was not important. why aren't reviewers mentioning this part of the book, does Scientology want priscilla protected.?

But time will show you Priscilla was always about the money and pushed her daughter out of the picture as soon as she was born. Read all the account even her love Mike Stone who was the married karate instructor she left Elvis for wrote in his book. She wanted to be a movie star, and be an Icon like Elvis. She eliminated everything that stood in the way. Her book and movie were so filled with Lies Lisa threatened to sue her because of all the lies she told about Elvis but died before the movie came out. Priscilla and her son by another man, have trashed her forever. See son Navarone's podcast where he says he was glad she was died. Educate yourself

Dude, how isn't anyone mentioning the fact that in the book Priscilla allowed her daughter to be molested and abused by her then boyfriend Michael Edwards? It's disgusting. Both Priscilla and her boyfriend abused Lisa Marie. My heart aches even more for Lisa. And then around that time, when she was a teenager, you have the other Michael (Jackson) who was trying to pursue her romantically during this time as well. Ugh! She was preyed upon most of her life!
Everyone needs to hear Lisa's story because these sick mother effers are right in front of our noses. How awful. I can't imagine the fear Lisa went through in her own home and what she HAD to do to survive all this abuse. The things Lisa has seen in her life and the things she had to experience at such a young age is heartbreaking. What the actual fudge?
Some things are making sense now. Remember, not too long ago, I think last year, Riley (Lisa's daughter) was fighting with her grandma Priscilla after Lisa's death about the estate trust which Riley eventually won the rights to. And then I look back and I simply cannot recall one single picture of Lisa and her mom ever embracing each other or having a genuine smile with one another. They're always standing side by side and in black. Always a sad and sorrow look from them. Aww poor Lisa! This is too effing sad dude.
The only time you see Lisa smile and laugh is when she's with her kids. And you can tell that the whole family isn't really happy by how they pose together. They don't embrace or smile as a unit which means there's something going on there. Which are now being known from Lisa's memoir. You can see the fake smile. Even Lisa struggles to smile in those pix. And the most recent pix of Lisa, you can see how pale and even sadder she is 😥.

I was scrolling through YT and found a channel in which this guy reads sections or parts off the memoir. His channel is called Rare Elvis Photos and the video is titled "Accused Mistreatment of Lisa Marie Presley by Priscilla and Michael Edwards! Lisa's Memoir".
I did put the link for you to view it but I'm wondering if that's the reason my comment got removed or didn't go through. But yes. I too couldn't believe it. I think this weekend I'll go out and buy the book.

@@PerezHilton Perez, did you know that THAT specific part of the memoir has been omitted? Meaning, they've removed the abuse that Lisa went through from the book. Makes sense why Riley isn't being asked about this in her interviews and why the interviewers are referring to this book as a love story.
I'm gonna go figure out why publishers are choosing to remove that part of Lisa's story. That ain't right at all.

Dang, such a good storyteller, narrator, and I say that because my mind doesn’t wander while listening to you . I absorb best reading vs listening. But absorb all you say. Embellish well. My learning style is hands on and reading. Learned after finished with school. So I get happy when I hang on to every word.
Just looked at the synastry chart between these two- I can see how they were attracted. Mars in the 1st house overlay, ascendant in the 8th house overlay. Double whammy moon/mars aspect (otherwise known as ‘’the baby making aspect). Her Jupiter conjunct his sun Pluto conjunction- he most likely felt she greatly enhanced himself. Moon conjunct moon- their emotions were very much in tune with each other. All of these are very strong attraction aspects in synastry!
Venus trine sun- another lovely aspect. This is friendship- like the other can do no wrong, and a very good aspect to have romantically. Her sun opposite his Venus could create tension in that regard as the differences in values-they can’t exactly get on the same page there .
His Jupiter on her IC would make her feel like MJ greatly enhanced her home life, her genuine self and give her a sense of extended family. Pluto trine mars is another highly sexually charged aspect as are the two overlays mentioned above.

The difference that I took from the book is that even before the marriage turned sour, she was concerned that he would kick her to the curb after she delivered children. He wanted to have complete 100% control over parenting any children. It sounds like she didn’t realize that he was like that until after they married.
What I remember from her discussing the custody nightmare is that she was at the beginning of the end of marriage point; things had started to go bad already. Perez, I honestly don’t believe they were ever intimate. I’m sure they had some light moments of intimacy but I have very strong doubts that they were ever “fully intimate” and if they were, chances are very good that number was extremely low. It just seemed that Michael had crippling shyness and insecurities that would have impeded any desire or ability on his part to be consistently intimate with a partner long term. Plus, I think he had a real fixation on Elvis and his fascination was far more about him. Reality and the tedium of a day to day life shared with someone would have been a buzz killer for him. I think Michael needed to convince himself that he was deeply in love with Lisa in order to justify marrying her. Why would michael have stayed gone so much if they had such a strong attraction or a real emotional connection? He traveled all the time as a way to avoid real closeness in their marriage. He loved THE THOUGHT of her. He loved the idea of being married to her. I think on some superficial level they really felt they loved each other in the moment but they both knew it was wrong and it was a lie from the very beginning. It’s very easy to fake your way through a superficial courtship especially when funds are so readily available and you can hop a plane and fly off at a moments notice and stay separated for days and weeks on end. Had Michael really loved her and been so attracted to her he would have treasured her and invested his time and energy into a real life with her instead of avoiding her. I am 100% convinced he loved the thought of having any sort of real and lasting connection to Elvis’s legacy and he hoped she would be willing to put up the facade of a happy union while he stayed gone all the time hiding out from real intimacy.....children would have been a dream bonus for him.

It makes sense that Lisa Marie would find herself wanting to be with Michael if she was indeed molested by her mother’s ex boyfriend. It is said of Michael how it greatly bothered him to see his brothers using women and prostitutes. He seems quite empathetic to women and instead of joining in on the abuse he tries to make himself the furthest from what he saw from the males in his life. I’m certain a victim of sexual molestation would be greatly put at ease by that type of man. Couple in the fact that they both lived high profile lives in the media spotlight- I’m certain there is enough mutual respect there and comfort in each other to form a bond with those two things alone.

I really love your write up, but at the end of the day Michael was never guilty despite how people around him plus the media tried to twist the whole narrative. I really wish him and Lisa had carried on with their lives together but they both were having their struggles.
You know what's interesting, they kept on seeing each other for a couple years after their divorce, trying to work things out but it wasn't successful sadly and they ended up losing touch with each other.
